There is a being I want to get rid of that tries to talk thru me and gives me literally headaches when I resist it. I am not scared of it just annoyed and can't get anything done and I feel pretty drained. When it is around I get a chill or a poke and if I get distracted, it tricks me into letting it talk thru me. When I resist I get a pressure in my chest, throat and head. When I get rid of this thing, I will leave this whole spell mess alone. How should I go about doing this? Prayer does not work, it interrupts meditation and personal work. It makes me jittery and sometimes can move my limbs especially when I am tired or trying to go to sleep. I have more info if needed. I am considering seeing a shrink but as a last resort because it is embarrassing and expensive and I know what they will likely say. I would go back to church but I hate the way they look at me like I don't belong there and how they confuse me. If anyone is helpful I will be extremely greatful. Something worth mentioning, when I rub where my crown chakra is, it seems to hate it.
This is probably the only or one of the cases of where i would try to resolve magickly first than going to a shrink. Because therapists/shrinks, what ever, ( not all but a lot of them ) are trained to follow logic and the human mind not spirituality.
Have you tried talking to the spirit? Spirits only take a persons body ( to talk ) when they have a message for someone. It's not random. Maybe you should try making contact with the spirit to see what he actually wants and if he has a message, maybe try to deliver it.
This is the best way to resolve it really. Spirits don't do things randomly or because they want it, they do it with a purpose. Just find out what he wants and he'll probably go away.
If need be, curse it, eat it. People assume you can only practice magic on other people, which is simply not the case. I've used magic on a variety of things, non-physical entities, unborn babies, politicians...
Either way, what you have on your hands is a very big parasite. Around twice your size in fact. Greenish colored.
If you can do it yourself, I highly advise making a poppet, and binding it. If it is dead serious about hurting you, rather than merely exploiting you, then it could snap the bonds forged on the human end like twigs.

I am very basic when it comes to spells, which at this point I had decided to leave spell work alone in case it backfires. Most spell work I have done is protection spells not offensive. The kinds of spells I know how to do is sigil casting by fire. I have small knowledge of binding but never tried to do it myself. A friend had told me to try to bind it to a quartz crystal I have. If you have no experience in binding or dealing with spirits in general, you should seek help.
Do not bind a spirit to anything if you do not know how to do it. Specially not a spirit that has already taken control over your body. If you do not have experience and you fail, the spirit will be mad and things will get a thousand times worse . You should try cleansing your self and your home. That will work for at least a day or two. If he comes back, try to banish it, another option, is to put salt in all your windows and doors in your home.
When it comes to binding spirits, you should bind it to something that can not break, a puppet per example, like said above. If you bind it to a jar and it breaks, the spirit will be free.
Only bind it if you're sure it will work. Do not try to do so if you haven't done it ever. If it were to be in another spirit that hasn't even touched you but means harm, it would be a different situation but on this one, he already took over your body, meaning he can get to you in a easy way.
Do you have friends experienced in these kind of things?
If yes, talk to them and ask for help. I'm sure they'll give you a hand. ( A close friend that will believe your words instead of thinking that you gone crazy ).
If not, you can always try to go to a " spiritual house " or a pagan shop and ask if there's anything you can use. Maybe try to explain your situation, I'm sure they will give you a better explanation and some items you could use to get rid of the spirit.

there are 2 friends i am waiting to message me back. One of them practices on the left hand path but a good chance he wont help me because he does not like interfering with other peoples problems. same person who told me to bind it to the quartz. The other is a lot more right hand but likely won't take me serious because she probably thinks I am already crazy, unless I prove it to her somehow. I know of one shop in town but a friend had told me it is unreliable. I will likely have to try your other methods
