If you're just wanting to learn more about the lore, the first (and best, in my opinion) place to start would be by reading both the Prose and Poetic Eddas and learning about the stories firsthand. Then I'd go on to suggest some more reading of sagas and other literature that came out around the same period.

This website has a list of some suggested reading:

I could've sworn that this post had gone out. Huh.

Futhark: A Handbook of Rune Magic by Edred Thorsson(Stephen Flower)

Uthark: The Nightside of the Runes by Thomas Karlsson

Runelore: The Magic, History, and Hidden Codes of the Runes also by Edred Thorsson

Nordic Runes: Understanding, Casting, and Interpreting the Ancient Viking Oracle by Paul Rhys Mountfort

Runecaster’s Handbook by Edred Thorsson

Helrunar: A Manual of Rune Magick by Jan Fries(haven't read this one, but seems like it could be useful)

Runes and Magic: Magical Formulaic Elements in the Older Runic Tradition by Stephen Flowers(this one is more history of runes than magic)

The Viking Way: Religion and War in Late Iron Age Scandinavia by Neil Price, which is again history rather than sorcery.

And of course, my advice for literally anyone wanting to do remotely anything in magic ever, talk to Odin himself. The god of knowledge will be more than capable of helping you.
