@ Zelotar not sure, no ones every really 'bumped'on these forums, but i think it could be considered spamming the forums so tread softly.

@ Facemask, he said these are 9 friends of his, he can't really continue a list if he's talking about 9 spiritual beings he knows and has listed all 9. [granted if he knows more he could, but if he specified 9 and introduced 9, don't be surprised if that's the end of this specific list]

I can confirm that the number 9 is different from the number 80(+).

Also, Kimeron seems to be Kimaris.

Informative post... Although I was wondering, don't the sub-types of entities can have only one element? And a correction; Djinns are a sub-type of a Demonic entity called "Genies". I don't think there is a sub-type of Djinn since obviously Djinns are a sub-type; representing the air element.

Or, am I saying something wrong?

(EVERYTHING IN THIS POST IS BASED ON UPG, TAKE IT WITH A GRAIN OF SALT)
On my end the jinn/genies(yes the terms are used more or less interchangably on my end).

Jinn are, generally speaking, their own species. Some jinn are demonic, but many jinn aren't. Demonism is more of a title, for a specific type of obsessive spirit. So some demons are elementals, angels, jinn, etc.

Suffice to say, not all jinn are demonic. And there are many species of jinn, which can be labelled tribes, each with their own monarch. The Efreet, the Marid, the Jann, the Ghuls, are the most notable ones.

Not all jinn represent air. The Efreet, for example, are fiery.

And not always. Correspondences are, as mentioned in the post above, like bricks for different aspects. The more of them you have, the clearer a connection. Few are limited to just one element. Tetrapolar means that they encompass all of them, for example.

It depends on the entity, of course. King Paralda, isn't exactly gonna have more than one element, air, his element.

Different strokes for different spirits. The ones I mention are just more colorful.

@Nekoshema Not entirely sure. Even if the two posts were weeks behind each other?

Regardless, I can delete that post, if need be.

again, not sure, 'bump' doesn't really add to the conversation, so it could be considered spam, but it was just one so i think you're fine. if you kept 'bumping' the forum every couple weeks i'd say yes you'd get in trouble. but i'm no mod, so double check the rules. [also, excessive use of caps is against the rules i forget where but there should be an article explaining various ways to make things bold or underlined.]

Out of respect I am going to have to disagree with one of these "entities" being a Lwa. I have never heard of a Lwa named KImeron. Lwa are spirits yes but not all spirits are a Lwa.

Thank you for respectfully disagreeing. Far too many do not do it that way.

Most pantheons stretch beyond what humans have categorized (there are gods in the Netjer and Olympians humans have never remotely heard of). Just because a spirit isn't mentioned in lore, doesn't mean it's not there.

Not entirely sure what his position amongst the Loa is. If they officially recognize him, or not. Maybe ask Legba on it? Or try contacting Kimeron, and ask him?

Do you know which entity would be best to work with if you are a female getting into black magick?

Gender is irrelevant in black magic most of the time as black magic is generally speaking egalitarian.

That said, from this list, Iellet and Vorcalis would both be happy to work with her. They're pretty strong, universal and tutelary.
