What Is Darkness

Darkness is simply the absence of light. I don't feel any one way towards the word, nor does it evoke one particular emotion, as for me, it depends on the context of how the word is used. Darkness is not good or bad to me, it is whatever you choose to make it.

Warmth. Mischief. Tricks. Happy. Safe. Infinite. All good things. In my opinion, anyway. I love darkness. It's what makes me who I am.

Darkness to me is.. 'the unknown'.
It is filled with mystery.

It depends on what sense you look at it. To some, darkness is evil, to some, it is good.

Traditional senses often view darkness as bad and light as good, hence Yin and Yang, (The balance of good and evil, and how there is good in evil and evil in good).

It's all symbolism and interpretation, really.

Its comfort, a safe haven for those who seek it, depending on the type of person it can represent evil or good, but i see it as good.

Darkness, to me, also means the unknown. To me, it means the unseen and things that we are afraid of, but can learn to like and/or survive. It is a force of nature that is as necessary to existing like a volcano is necessary to create new earth.

Darkness to me at first was not having something to latch to.It ws just cold empty dark.Now its a medium to face my problems and reflect my courage.

Darkness to me is the beginning of everything of creation before Order/light was born. Darkness is primordial chaos. Personally I see it as part of the subconscious part of the mind and the "unknown". It can be beautiful and horrible at the same time.

For me it represents my medium. It's what I work with. It's not evil, just chaotic.

To me darkness is a part of who you are it's always within you and it can either be evil and negative or strong and beautiful. It all depends on how you work with it and how you embrace the darkness within you. I wish to embrace my darkness with open arms and learn to work with it rather than suppress it within me.
