Are you asking like people who are part fairy or part fae when you say faekin?

A faekin is not a real fairy, it is just someone who "thinks" they are part fairy, which can never happen

Dust2Dust is correct, there isn't any faekin or something... Fairies are a type of entity, and yes they have sub-types if that's what you mean.

A faerykin is someone who believes they are part fae, but no one can be part fae so it is complete fantasy.

On the otherhand the fae are real, the term fae in general catagorized many different groups under a single title.

Faekin is somebody who thinks they are part Faery or their soul is. They are not the same things. I see and communicate with Fae. Faeries are made up of energy, just like a Spirit of a person who died, Fae are a spirit, a Nature Spirit

Deadly as others mentioned, "faekin" does not exist. It's just fantasy. What you probably didn't undertand is that they have subtypes. Well, Fairy is an entity type, but there are sub-types, which means different categories of Fairies. For instance, cats. Cat is a type of animal on earth, but there are many different kind of cats (sub-types), either they'll be with longer tail, either with longer ears, etc.
