If there were specific things that look symbolic in your dreams you could look them up in a dream dictionary and this could give you some insight into the meanings of your dreams.

For example the alcohol your sister wanted in your dream could mean:
'To dream that someone is an alcoholic (and he/she is not one in real life) indicates that this person is in desperate need for an outlet to express himself or herself. He or she may be indirectly asking for help.'

Hope this helps.

HazJaz, thank you, I did look some of those over, and while they do make sense to me, but it still confusing. for instance, in the dream with my sister-if I look at everything that stood out, the messy house, her being sick, the alcohol, everything means vastly different things. Then, add in symbolism of just my sister being in the dream. It becomes very overwhelming.

Yes that can be a problem dream analysis is more useful when just one thing is out of place. Just thought if something really made you feel uneasy this could help.
