Hey, DykotianWolf. I had the same problem as you are now having for awhile. Try to slowly ease into it and just mention that you have lately been researching new topics of interest or you can just be straight forward about it, but I do not personally know your parents to give a completely accurate response. I hope all goes well when you tell them! Just think everything through and how you think would be the best way.

I agree with kings.of.art, but sometimes it is best to just come out with it instead of beating around the bush. It all depends on how you think you're family will react. Personally I have decided to never tell my mother because I will never stop hearing the end it and will be in a never ending lecture because I grew up in a Christian home. My mom would never understand and it would just be a headache to me trying to explain everything all the time. This is completely your decision and I don't know how old you are, but I will say that I would wait until you are 110% sure this path is right for you and you're completely comfortable with telling them. I would wait until I wasn't living with them, that way if they don't like it or agree with my choice, I don't have to see the everyday. these are just a couple things to consider. Good luck. If you want to talk just message me. It's good to talk to multiple people if you're really not sure about something.

My family doesnt know, but I am not holding it back. They dont ask. If they do, then ill be honest. If you cant be honest to others than how can you be honest with you? It is what it is, justifacation in anothers mind or not. Besides family loves you for you. Keep that in mind. If not, message me. Im great with family who doesnt care less unless you benefit them. Lol. Seriously though. Dont hinder you from being you. Blessed be and much peace !

Thank you I hope they understand. I've been buying Wiccan things Latkey, and my mom is starting to get the whole picture. But, I think after using the tarot deck and other Wiccan items I have. She will understand, once again thank you!

Best thing about moms dear, they never let you down. If they do, even over the internet can one have support. You got this, but do research and self reflection. We are all unigue and different and that is our beauty

There is an excellent book called " When Someone You Love Is Wiccan " by Carl McColman that is designed specifically to explain the beliefs and practices of Wicca clearly to the parents or other loved ones of those that practice Wicca. You might try to find a copy of that to help you.

But before you do that you might ask yourself why you feel it is necessary to tell your parents about your beliefs. What will you do if your parents get upset and forbid you to practice any more? Sometimes it's better just to remember that important axiom of the Witch's Pyramid, " To Keep Silent ."
