I agree on all of this. Lower entities have a tendency to claim energy under the identity of somebody else.

But then again, selling one's soul completely is rather an impossible happening, and relates to how different beliefs merged together. Willing to worship and believe you will be "taken" by a certain deity to their own realm seems like a good point of view regarding "soul selling".

Welldone,guys,welldone.

As for the true keys of magik,if one ever had them then they are skilled, long term practitioneers that know knowledge is either useless or dangerous to the inexperienced (eventually dabblers),so they would likely not share it. If magik could be just "read and learnt" then we wouldn't have to practice. But for as long as magik is a D.I.Y thing, experience and time are our only valuable teachers.

I am not sure how to to interpret this flood of information. It seems like solid information but one part of the original statement that involved Lucifer giving up his seat beside God so that humanity be free sounds a tad odd. I say that because even though I wasn't raised in a religious family, stories throughout history claim Satan/Lucifer or whatever name he choose to be evil. Evil can be a two way street. We might think we are doing good but we could be doing lots of wrong.
While this first example is not the strongest I think it should help explain to a degree. I recently saw the religious show "The 700 club". It had a host and a cohost whose names I don't recall wearing expensive outfits and preaching on about their newest donation thing. They ask for hundreds of thousands of dollars at one time, and say its for a charity that helps secondhand countries get on their feet. Hundreds of thousands of dollars can help alot sure, but are those dollars being fully dedicated to that good purpose? I'd say not entirely, I'd assume 40% goes to the secondhand countries and 60% goes directly to them. Sure we could think that " He's a religious man who won't lie" but temptation is a strong motivator alongside greed, and deception is a strong shield against the truth.
So why would Lucifer just randomly want to help us? If God gave his angels free will, and gave man free will, why would Lucifer willingly give up his seat and try to turn us away from God so that we may better exercise our free will? What is he truly getting out of it? Because if he is a Divine Diety comparable to God why does he need to break us away from God? That is what I don't understand.

The point is that he isn't getting anything out of it, he isn't asking for worship. Where on the other hand God is. He did this because he wanted us to not be oppressed by God.

He didn't randomly help us, through helping us he was freeing himself. For him to become free, he had to have some support, meaning the angels that followed him.

First of all Lucifer is a pagan god. Not Devil. Lucifer or Eosforos is god of planet Venus.

instead of spouting random garbage found in websites and occult books, can you people just take an hour to listen to the podcast with Peter Gray by Rune Soup? This is why ignorance is so prevalent...

I agree with Whiteraven, and must also agree that Peter Grey's book is a must-read for anyone with an interest in Lucifer. His work is well researched and well written.

As for other books which portray a Luciferian themed witchcraft which is not Satanic per se, are works by Michael Howard, in particular "Pillars of Tubal Cain" and "Book of Fallen Angels."

As for some 'source' documentation of Lucifer, you can look into the book of Enoch translations remembering that Azazel/Shemyaya is identified with Lucifer as the leader of the rebellious angels who came to Earth, taught 'forbidden arts' to humanity which aided their advancement and seduced their women.

I read this more allegorically than literally of course, however, well worth a read.
