A rose petal with lavender oil bath at night would probably erase your stress throughout the day.

Please do not mistake being "under the weather" or having a Head Cold (Coryza), with The Dreaded Flu! You will not die from those.
But, Influenza can, and does, kill! It is a very serious virus disease, and needs professional treatment.
The problem with the Flu virus is that it "evolves" into a different "strain" each year.
Every year, an outbreak of Flu kills hundreds of thousands; sometimes millions.
So do not think that you can treat Flu with a cup of tea!

The flu is caused by a low immune system, many things help boost your immune system, such as tea. It's true that not only tea will help prevent or cure it, but many holistic doctors such as my mother understand that tea is a better medicine than what several doctors provide you.

So that is debatable. I know that I would rather trust herbs than the chemical concoction that they attempt to inject into our bodies. More people have died from the vaccinations than they have from the actual illness.

That is simply not true! Nobody has ever died from the vaccine. And flu is not caused by a lack of immune system. It is caused by a virus, and it is highly infectious. A herbal tea may ease the symptoms of flu; but it will not cure. That takes anti-biotics. Many people get a common cold and imagine they have flu. Not so, flu is far more dangerous. The Spanish endemic of flu in 1918, when there were no antibiotics, killed nearly two million people. Over a million died of flu in 1958. Flu is serious. Very serious!

Garlic gel caps and oil of oregano are great for fighting the flu. Antibiotics help infection, but flu is a virus. You need antiviral(s) to fight it. I caught this year's flu, and got very sick, enough to almost go to er. But I fought it with garlic and "Cold-eeze". It contains zinc which really helps the body. My aunt was sick before me, even gave it to me, and she is still sick because it went into secondary infection, which then antibiotics were needed. But the way I fought it required no antibiotics because it didn't go into infection. Be careful with this, as it is highly contagious. I did not even leave my house to get it!

I only wish to say one more thing, I don't want to argue or start a unecessary fight over single celled organisms. Viruses enter your body and attack your immune system, you get the symptoms becuase you are fighting the virus, infection, etc. with your immune system. If you have a weak immune system, you will have a greater chance of getting ill.

Strong immune system= healthy body= viruses die off.

My mistake StarPower. I said anti-biotics when I meant antivirals. Anti-biotics only fight bacteria! I also wrote endemic when I should have written Pandemic! My typing let me down!
And yes,it does have more effect an a weak immune system, that is why it kills more babies and people over 60. But Guru said that it was the "cause" of Flu! And that's not true!

I must say this is quiet the dilemma with one side saying go to a doctor and the other suggesting witch medicine. And yet there are some of us that can say we do neither and survive the flu just fine year after year. So where do we stand . sounds like once again noone is right or wrong on this subject it is just a matter of making the choice that is right for you. Or maybe do all the above, ride it out, no change try the witch medicine , if that doesn't clear you up, by all means go see the doctor and get it taken care of. Either way you look at the choice is yours so no sense argueing .
