I can see auras, and mine is white and gold for some reason. I really never looked into what aura colors mean.

And, oddly, every time Ive checked in the past five years, it has never changed color. Any idea why?

keep in mind that auras are not static. They change.
You aura colour is based on your frequency, which is also based on the status of you chakras.

It should not be a basis of measuring how spiritually evolved someone is. Chakras open and close. You can shut a chakra down for years at a time on purpose. You can also have extreme unbalances where a higher chakra will be open and create a higher aura such as indigo/violet/gold/white etc. This does not mean that the person is spiritually evolved though.

If you have a hole in your plumbing the water will move great, right onto your floor. If someone shuts off all the valves in a brand new house it does not mean the plumbing is broken.

Also, don't believe the hype of colour and meaning. It is a very basic form of understanding auras and energy at its best.

I recommend Barbara Ann Brennan's books if you are curious about learning more about auras, chakras, etc.

I do not physically see auras but when I look with my third eye, I do if that makes sense. I feel them more than see them. Here are some aura color meanings, you can usually feel which emotion is coming from the color.

Purple: knowledge, psychic awareness, power. It usually means the person is lost in thought and thinking very intellectual things.

Purple/pink: lust. It is a very distinct shade of color.

Red: love, wrath, anger,

Orange: calm, mellow, or irritation

Yellow: bliss, satisfaction, annoyance

Black: depression, thoughts of death, darkness, pure hatred

Gold: healing abilities out divine protection

Blue: melancholy, sadness, aloof
