There are treatments, creams, etc.,for Acne; but by far the best treatment is nutrition. You have to remember that the skin is the largest organ in your body; and you have to treat it with respect.
It is an old adage, and a true one, that "we are what we eat".
The first thing is to eat nothing with a "preservative" in it. Only fresh food. Plenty of Brassica (lightly cooked), Fruit, root vegetables,Nuts (not peanuts!). Garlic, if you can eat a little raw,all the better.
Too much sugar is deadly to the skin; salt is okay.Don't be afraid of meat; it is the fastest source of protein. Avoid Margerine like the plague! Butter is good for you!
Get as much information as you can on nutrition. And most of all, water! Drink it. And when you wash with it, avoid all "scented" soaps.
Use a cream by all means as a quick relief. But treating Acne from the inside is the cure!

Thank you but me and my family already do that and have been for a while, my mom even makes fermented foods.
And soda that is good for you!
I was just wondering if there was a way to get rid of that occasional zit.

Do not ever squeeze a "zit"; it will leave a hole in your skin.

There is no such thing as soda that is good for you, anything with preservatives and an array of chemicals is not good for you in the slightest. Our bodies are of the Earth and should be fed and watered with things of the Earth, not man made substances.

Brysing gives the best advice, of course hormones play a part, but the average teenagers diet is shockingly bad. I found that swapping all drinks for either water or tea barring when I go out with friends once or twice a week, made my skin a lot better. It gave good hydration to the cells, and I not only looked better but felt better mentally too.

As for natural methods, tea tree oil is one of the best things for your skin so long as you dilute it, some like to dab it on to a spot with a cue tip only touching that area. This is good, but not everyday as it can make your skin dry. Another method would be to dilute some in a basin of water to wash your face.

After washing your face you could apply witchhazel astringent to the skin using cotton wool, this will balance the oiliness of the skin and close the pores preventing further breakouts.

Sugar is bad for the skin, as are bad fats (saturated). But something most people overlook is dairy, most people's body simply doesn't handle dairy very well and dairy can cause skin issues. I am not the only one who gets breakouts when I consume dairy, and I have noticed it also irritates my eczema, even just a couple of spoonfuls of yoghurt.

Honestly, it's all abut knowing what is good for your body and yourself, and the only way you will know that is through applying basic nutritional information and trial and error.

Hey.I used to have acne problem and out of experience I can tell you tht there is no "good for anyone" solution..be it a thing bought from pharmacy or some home made treatment,or even a spell.

That happens because we have different skin types with different reactions to some ingredients and with different acne causes.

I went to a specialist and he prescribed me a treatment. It was awesome..mu skin was clear..until I stopped the treatment and then it started again.

I turned 18 and most of them black heads were gone so keep in mind that hormones can be the cause.

Now I just use a peel-off avon mask daily and it does the trick. It does not destroy them..but diminuates the red around them and makes your skin smooth so overall it makes the skin look really nice. You may give it a try.

If you want to keep them under control, just see a dermatologist. They are specialisedin finding the best cure for your own skin type.

I hope this will do :*

Its not really 'soda' its fermented juce and fermenting the juice makes it fizzy so we call it soda.
If you have questions on the fermentation process let me know.

As many people have said before me, the perscription medicines are usually the best. If you are interested in more natural alternatives though, you still need to talk to a dermatologist that you trust. Most likely, you will have to try a lot of different things before you find something that really works for you, but that's because everyone's skin is different.

Being healthy is great, and it does help. You would probably have much worse acne if you weren't as healthy as you are. But some people have a predisposition for really bad acne, especially during puberty. Good thing is, when puberty passes, you probably won't have to deal with acne as much if hardly at all.

I wish you luck, and I hope you find what you are searching for.

I tried everything. The only thing that worked on me was laser treatment. It was costly but it changed the structure of my skin so I didn't get any more outbreaks.
I also found that strength training and good nutrition helped me balance out my hormones. I train almost every day though. You cannot expect results with twice or three times a week. You need proper training.
I wouldn't use anything too aggressive on my skin such as tea tree oil or any acne products. They usually give you some results and the acne comes back twice worse than what it was.
I would gently cleanse my skin.
If your acne is based on an infection then maybe your doctor can help you. If it's not and it is hormonal your local gym is the best remedy for you.
