I was drawing the point of Jesus up as I noticid Thor is a Christian and to discredit one mythology and accept another is just ludicrous.

My point is the point is absurd, hypocritical, bigoted, and just plain stupid.

Well, I didn't know that Thor was a Christian, but I restate what I said: to me, both nymphs and Jesus are myths. Maybe yes, you have a point on why one can believe in one and criticise the belief in the other, but that won't add anything on the subject of this thread.

There are far too many members of this site stating beliefs as though they are facts. If you believe in fairies, nymphs, dragons,Gods, spirits; that's fair enough. But say that it is your belief or opinion. Do not state such things as if they are truth! They are only beliefs; and some people will believe in almost anything!

What has been brought up in this thread has been factual, what nymphs were/are considered to have been and methods in which people partake in experiencing them. Whether or not you believe in the experience is irrelevant to me or anyone else, the fact of the matter is, people do still experience them.

What that experience is and the cause thereof is also irrelevant to me. But when people say it is just imagination, they are being close-minded and reductionist. When people also denigrate imagination they clearly have no understanding of occult philosophy.

And to dislike praying to one mythological creature, yet I assume pray to a mythological man-god-rehashed myth character is just hypocritical.

As for folk stating things as fact, this has not occurred in this thread. I've not said nymphs are real, nor has anyone else, the question was asked and answered much earlier on, these subsequent replies are utterly useless and worthless, much like the majority of the final destinations of these threads.

Not you, Hadit, but others.
Sage:- nature spirits exist.
Nemonoke:- nymphs are spirits.

YOUR one to talk brysing...I've read your posts and you are acting like a hypocrite.
In some posts you've insulted a leader of a faith, insulted others belief's and insulted some people's questions. I find it funny that you would want the same respect of your religion but then you attack them! I happen to have VERY HIGH RESPECT for Anton Lacey. Do me a favor and practice what you preach or shut the ---- up.

When have I ever asked for respect for my religion? If, as you say, you have read my posts, then you must be aware that I have no religion. I am a 24 carat Atheist. I do not hold with any God, spirit, ghost, or Genies granting three wishes.
I have never insulted any religion; but I may very well insult the people who use religion to take advantage of the gullible and the vulnerable; who make a lot of money, and become very rich.
There are many children on this site, some of them wanting to learn. And when they see "beliefs" stated as facts, they believe them, and accept them as truths.
I do not mind anybody writing about their beliefs; so long as they do not say that they are proven truth!

As my post on this thread. Take note of how many times Fox states a belief as though it is fact. Such as,
"They live in caves--".

Woah guys. This is getting a little out of hand.

The fact of the matter is, Nymphs are believed to be nature spirits. If you were to meet one, it would probably be a spiritual encounter insead of a physical one. They are a belief similar to faries or spirits. Whether you believe in them or not is completely up to you.

There is no need here to call anyone hypocritical. Some of the arguments here really have nothing to do with the original post at all.

Brysing, I think it was assumed that what fox was writing was a belief instead of a fact. I don't think it is necessary to constantly state what you are writing is belief, especially if it can be infered from the context of the post and surrounding threads.

I am old enough to recognize that! You have clearly indicated that nymphs are a belief. But when it is not made so clear, that is when it can mislead children; and even some adults.
The original post was asking how to meet one!
