I go to bed at a good time every night. I usually get at least 8 hours of sleep, but I still wake up restless and tired. I also haven't had a dream or even a nightmare in forever. It's like I'm just not there. Can anyone please explain what is happening and why it is happening?

It may be a underlying medical problem if it's persistent. If you do not dream it may even be that you're not going into a deep enough sleep to enter REM sleep stage where you do dream. You may want to examine your diet and other possibilities, try eating healthy fruits and vegetables to boost your energy. Maybe even try some aromatherapy before you go to bed like using lavender. All in all be careful and you may want to speak with your doctor to see what the underlying cause might be. Be safe and blessed be dear~

Tiredness can sometimes be caused by too much sleep,as well as too little. But there are many other causes. You should really consult a doctor. There could be medical reasons for being tired and restless.
