I think you should make the most of your time before your period starts, it's not nice :D

There is no spell. When you start having your period is based primarily on genetics, if you are in your pre teens or early teens you should get your period soon, but if you're 16 or older, speak to a doctor.

In fact I know quite a few people who didn't have their first period till they were 17 or 18, it all depends on your body and when it wants to begin your periods. If you are very worried then talk to your doctor, but other than that it is just patients and waiting for it to arrive.

I don't understand being desperate about it. It will come when your body is ready. If you go to age 17 without it, I would talk to doctor. Every woman is different, and our bodies mature at different levels and different times.

Your body has a natural cycle, set by homeones, stress levels, etc..your body will have your period when it is ready and there is not much you can do to change it.

Hi Roserettacry, I don't know your age, but if it makes you feel any better, long time ago I was desperate just like you :) And I got my first period at age 21, once and it stopped and came back six month later, than nothing and I started taking birth control ,because once i started getting it, it was for too many days, so if you are not 18, or 19, just enjoy it, because nothing is wrong with you.

Also why not visiting a doctor and sharing your concern, I am sure you will have more information that is helpful, and if you still need a spell, start a new discussion or keep this one going.

Have a fantastic day.

WingedGirl, there is not really a spell that will make menstrual cramps go away but there are many physical things you can do to ease the pain. For example, you could start with over the counter pain medicine (I like Ibuprofin or A piece but most of them work good enough), and try to relax till it kicks in. I have many things I do to ease my cramps which are always really bad the first day or two at least. I take pain killers and try to relax because when you're tense your muscles tighten and it hurts worse, I also use a heating pad over my stomach to help relax the muscles, drink hit tea, or I take a long hot shower. In my experience laying stretched out will help the pain go away, when I have my legs tucked up there's more tightness and it hurts. It also may sound funny but it doesn't feel funny it hurts, when you get your period you are more prone to passing gas and (for me at least) indigestion, one thing that helps that pass is laying on your left side. This helps because while the outside of our bodies seem mostly symmetrical out organs are not, because of the placement of openings to other organs in our digestive system the gas passes faster on the left side. Another good tip is to avoid tight or even moderately tight pants while you're cramping. These things really do make a difference for me and I hope they help you as well.

wow old post lol.

@ Cohanim, i've got a friend who had really rare periods, like she had her first one at 16, her second one when she was 18, then two when she was 19, doctors finally diagnosed her almost 10 years later [i forget when it was called] anyway, point being if it's irregular speak to your doctor, unfortunately they aren't always helpful or accurate the first time, but its better to be safe and know what you're dealing with. my friend is fine, she didn't care about not getting her period but trying to diagnose her was a big deal because she wanted to have kids one day so she visited the doctor regularly for years. [good news she does have a son, and they figured out what she had this year because she's trying for a second child]
