Get them to believe...

I get teased a whole lot for believing in magic. People say things like "Oh, yeah, you're magic. And I'm Santa Claus." They just get me so worked up! Especially when I go to my friends complaining about something weird that happened and they just say "You're being paranoid." Is there something I can do to get them to believe?

You can't make anyone believe anything. If they refuse to believe what you're saying that's their business. In this case, it's probably best just to stop talking about it altogether, and if your friends tease you for something you believe in, then they are not your true friends.

People can be naïve, kids can be cruel, but that's there choice. You can't change there mind for them.if they don't believe so be it.

Many people hold a disbelief towards magick, there is nothing you can do about this as this is their belief. If they do not respect what you believe in, then simply do not talk about it around them to prevent them judging you. Everyone holds their own belief, you can't really change it with anything you say or do.

I once had that same issue. It's best to leave the notion of you practicing magic as a joke to them, lest it turn into a new witch trial. Times have changed but ignorance hasn't. Some aren't as polite as others.

I know the feeling, but you can't get anyone to believe in magick. You can possibly explain what real magick is supposed to be opposed to movie magic, you can tell them about the history and beliefs, you can even explain to them it's as valid as their own religions, but you can't "make" people believe in magick, you can only ask for respect.
