Skeletons protect you . That's not possible you can animate an inanimate object. And spirits aren't bound to do what you say unless they offer so I would read a liitle more on what necromancy is because this is fictional.
well... to be exact I've read about it and about all other types of magick (on books and some other things) besides... we never know what's possible until we give it a try (that's what I think) and I live through magickal experiments and research (I'll experiment with spells and research new and old ones and I'll practice spell casting... you know)
ho and one more thing that I forgot to mention... didn't everyone laugh at the man that created the lamp?

if we believe that we can do something and train hard enough... we can do anything (even pull a plane... it's a world record though)
Many people don't teach, but many will guide you. However do you know what necromany is? It doesn't just happen from a snap of your hands and, a teacher. It takes practice, if anything years of it!
Also spells to drain energy? You say you know what your doing. But, even raising energy, is hard and tiresome. I'm not bringing you down, but you seem to be asking alot.
On the post above you said your ''not'' a fluff. In my veiw, no one called you that, and as far as i believe; You seemed kinda accusing.
Think, why do you want to do necromancy? draining? What are the benefits? Make sure to think about this, instead of demands.
Aside from what has already been said,Necromancy is a form of divination by which you speak with or contact spirits to try to foretell future events. Just wanted to throw that out there. You don't actually, nor can you, "raise the dead."
Contrary to popular belief, it isn't just divining through the dead. Necromancy is when you work with the dead to learn things. You can divine, send them for protection purposes or curses, and so on. ;
lonely considering necromancy as a art to reanimate the dead is silly but one can conjure the dead and get answers from them. This is why Necro (Dead) and Mancy (Divination) means to seek answers from the dead nothing to do with summoning skeletons
