It's not for me. It's for someone else.

Why does everyone think there is a spell for everything when you can do it yourself? Spells should be used in situations that you can't do anything about yourself. Not for a shift change. Just tell your friend to ask. If not then it's a no.

I don't understand how some people come to a spell site when obviously there aren't things you can do yourself...........

Clearly, you do not understand magick and need to study more and then you will know why I stated what I did.

I'd just like to say to everyone that may be reading this. Don't let anyone question or suggest a certain way to be or behave a certain way whom questions your beliefs and whatever magick or religion you are involved in.
Insulting someone else's magic or the way they do something is wrong and that's not what magics about. Thank you!

Don't let anyone question or suggest a certain way to be or behave a certain way whom questions your beliefs and whatever magick or religion you are involved in.

Magick is a science, not a do-whatever-you-want form of artistic self-expression. There are things that simply do not work or which cannot be done or which can only be accomplished in specific ways. If you could accomplish literally anything through magick, in absolutely any way you wanted, the world would have thousands of lotto winners, teenage werewolves and mermaids, and the singers of One Direction would have more true loves than they could possibly count.

Yes, let people question your beliefs and magical behaviors and convictions. Encourage people to question them. Question them yourself! Ask lots and lots of questions so that you can find out which things are real and true so you can discard the rest.

On the subject of your friend wanting to have a different work shift, I'd suggest a prayer or spell which deals in making their target audience (presumably their superior at work) be more receptive to what they say, but they still need to ask for them for a change in shift. If the absolutely cannot or will not ask then I'd suggest petitioning a deity or a more minor spirit to go nudge the boss and circumstances until they change your friend's shift of their own accord, but that's not the route I'd take so I'm not real sure who to petition for that - my guess would be something Mercurial.

Look, I'm glad some people don't rely on magic.
I've been practicing since I was seven (yes, seven) so I've been through all that and I do respect Magic. And personally, I have not relied on Magic through everything. And by means, I'm not saying that Magic is just spells. But I live in a Bible Belt; I feel different about letting people question my beliefs. Mainly, because I've had to deal with so severely these many years.
Not everyone is going to agree on something and we're all going to have different views on things, but that's part of what makes us who we are and what we're all about.

So, if I haven't relied on it much in the past, then why am I right now you may ask? Because that's part of needing help to put me on my path and asking for guidance and bringing it to manifestation. I'm not bringing the Easter Bunny into existence. But if I want to cast a certain spell, that's my business. I am a good person and I work hard, so it's not like I don't work hard for what I want. But a lot people should respect something, especially when they're digging their hills into something they may not completely understand; instead of running their mouths about what a person does, just let them do it. I'm not committing a crime and I'm not breaking the Wiccan Rede.
Maybe, I need to learn "the error of my ways," but a lot of people do. That's part of being human. So, I rest my case...
