Well in order to get a "rank" or "reputation" on this site, you must show your knowledge within the "Forums" and "Chat". If you are apart of a coven and in "Council" position, then you can also show your knowledge in the "Articles" and "Spells".

Now remember having a rank is not a right, it's a priveldge (sorry if spelled wrong), the best way to keep it is by, giving your opinion when your right, and accepting constructive critizism if your wrong, and learn from that.

Well that is my thought on how to get a reputation on this site. :)

If multiple people vote differently on your ranking, it will change your ranking.

Don't worry about it. Keep doing what you do around the site.

Ranking is like a multi-level scale. Everyone's vote adds or removes weight to the scale and the amount of weight determines your rank. Once enough people find you to be a certain rank, your stability within that rank strengthens its hold.

I prefer my rank still be newbie though I have done many things without knowing and knowing when to control it.
XD That means I'll be a newbie for 5 years until I learn to control.

Ranking is only "an indication" of one's knowledge and experience
My rank is knowledgeable.I am an old man,so what I know may well fill a book. What I do not know would fill a library!

It's best to not ask. A rank signifis the knowledge you know, and how you teach it. Try sharing true facts, and ''non fluffy'' knowledge. I know i don't have a rank, but it's something to work for, and strives me to give proper information.

Contribute good quality Articles, post facts that are backed up, help out alot, and aim for knowledge. A rank is just that ; A rank.

By asking for one, you make your ''chances'' lessoned. Keep up the good work, and apply knowledge with common sense. Also only state what you know, don't lie and make up stuff for this is an easy way to be marked fluffy, or loose your rank.

Good luck! *izzy*
