You don't need ouija board. Why risk it. Seems from your post that its friendly. Using pendulum, or something to answer questions like that, would be a safer method. With the smiling of your son, the spirit must be recognizable to him. Could be a passed relative or guardian watching. I don't feel a need for banishment, as of yet. BB

No No,unless experienced,or intentionally want to make a Hell, don't use ouija..I can say best is to have a normal talk within a protective circle with Tarot or oracle cards, with pendulum too,you should be careful as it can also open a way into your body. Ask archangel Michael and St. Christopher [check Google and check spelling] He is the patron saint of travellers and no spirit can run from his sight,if called,he take back wandering spirits to where they belong.I prefer do cleansing and purify yourself. Give notice to your dreams as if there is any spirit ,you must already be getting signs.
Blessed Be

Hi. If you don't the spirit around your son, go on youtube and type in The Great Comppassion Mantra, and listen to it. This prayer invoke 83 (i think) bodhisattvas. The prayer will protect your son and you.
This is what Mahayana Buddhist do,when we no want spirits around us. this my belief,I no stating as fact or true.

LunaHorse, I hope it is indeed a kindly spirit. I can't know the exact circumstances, of course from way across the internet, so use your best judgment.

My sister and I had an 'imaginary' friend (our parents told us she was imaginary, until they even doubted that she was), who even told us her name. We spent a lot of time with her. We researched the name she gave, and it is the same as a Native American tribe which lived in the area where we lived, but was wiped out around the 1880s.

Our friend may have been good, and your son's attachment may be as well. I hope it is, and that he has loads of fun like we did!

While Ouija boards aren't evil, I would use a different method simply because you don't want to attract a bunch of other spirits. Pendulums, skrying, and automatic writing are some options. Try simply speaking with the spirits. If you are good with meditation, you could ask a question, then meditate, you might recieve an answer. Honestly though the spirit sounds friendly, so just try talking with him as you would any other person, you might get an answer that way too depending on your clairvoyant abilities. They might need some training like with any skill/muscle but over time you should grow more aware of spirits.

Thank you all for your replies. I most definitely do not wish to banish it. Simple curiosity to know who it is. I believe it may be my grandmother but she passed some years ago and my son never met her. Both my grandmother's have passed. One of which was buried the same date my son was born (different years). I will look into the pendulum and I do have tarot/oracle cards. I will look into this. I do not wish it to go anywhere. Thank you again for all of your replies.
Blessed be.

LunaHorse, nothing on your profile, so we know nothing about you. But you say this spirit actually appears on photographs? I've never heard of that before! And it appears "around and about"? Never heard of that either.
Are you saying that this spirit is actually visible?
Oh,dear!

If it's a ghost it would appear on a photo but a old type of camera. I've never heard of a spirit not a ghost appearing on a camera before.

A spirit does not appear on a camera vampire. A spirit is not a physical being. So naturally they don't appear on a camera.
