You make a valid point Whiteraven. I have known several people who have had issues with his system. When it comes to this you seriously have to consider the source. E.A. makes a valid point in Evoking Eternity, "You become that which you associate yourself with." Doesn't that hold true to any situation? If you associate yourself with the Demonic wouldn't you become like them? Some people can't handle the malevolent energies he deals with and it makes sense that these forces that you delve in reading his works would cause you problems if your not adept. Everyone want's a quick fix regarding magick and he has it. The fine print that he left out was the fact that it does come with a price.

If it comes with a price and he left that information out he is not a very nice guy. I also have issues with the word adept, are you using the word to refer to a specific training system which Koetting has gone through or just merely to say someone who is advanced.

If it is the latter I would argue that Koetting is not advanced, just someone who swims with sharks, his methods aren't holy unique in fairness. Someone who swims with sharks is either brave, stupid or a mixture of the two.

Why is there so much hate? Yes it is dangerous but dealing with dark entities always is. He does have a lot of advertisments but his system works. I personaly like the fact that he challenges those who dispute it by saying go try it yourself. And the whole homeless thing well he said he stopped caring about real world problems because of his interest in magick took precidence. Now the Become A Living God part is what he teaches Evocation, Divination, and Astral Projection/Remote Viewing. In essence Omnipotence, Omniscence, and Omnipresence. Give some thought that if it works then you cant call him fluffy just because you dont like his method or making a buisness of it.

Thanks, Ronin. It's nice to see a comment by someone who has actually read his books or worked with his system.

Yeah there's a price to pay if you just jump into his or any system without a little bit of research. Dabblers suffer backlash when they don't know what their doing. I don't know what source your reading but evocation is pretty advanced especially when your talking about summoning spirits into beholdable appearance. It takes a lot of dedication and practice to obtain this.

Oh I agree Ronin. That's why I wanted to debate this. Lol and he isn't even my favorite occult author. Johannas Nefastos is my favorite author on the occult.

If he did not care about worldy affairs, he would not charge for the stuff he writes. I am not judging him when I point out he mixes nonsense with bits of truth. That nonsense portion can in fact get someone hurt but as long as he makes money, he does not seem to care.

This boards idea of a fluff differes from what we in new york call Fluff, I always thought of a fluff as someone like Amber K or Scott Cunningham
