Meditation Tips Needed
By:
Hi

I know my spirit guide is trying to tell me something, but I don’t know what. I’ve tried to meditate, but I just couldn’t clear my mind enough. Any suggestions on how to clear my mind more? Any tips/tricks of the trade?

PS sorry if I posted this to the wrong forum

Thanks for your help!

Find a quiet spot, Sit on the ground or floor with your legs crossed up under you with the back of your hands touching legs just behind knees and your thumbs lighty touching pointer finger and other fiingers open but relaxed, Close your eyes, clear your mind of all thought by focussing on the darkness behind your eyelids then let up on that focus and let your mind float. Do not concentrate on anything that comes to mind. Just let thoughts float past or wash over you. Let the spirits send these images and thoughts. When thoughts quit coming, your meditation session is complete. It could last five minutes or five hours. If you have other things to do that day set an alarm to bring you out of your meditative state. You could light incense, sit by a stream, play soft music, anything that helps you relax but not so distracting it is interfereing. I use this for my deep meditations before any spellwork and it is very refreshing. I have other techniques as well.

Some people also use deep breathing but I find that distracting and just let my breathing relax naturally.

Let your thoughts be like water, if you feel a thought coming on, simply "view it", do not attach your self to it, let it flow.
As new inputs (thoughts) come in, do the same thing, let them go, let them flow, let your thoughts be like running water.
