I know it to be true here in america. Whether or not it used to be talked about i cannot say. After seeing it on television over ten years ago i figured the cat was out of the bag. Ask yourself this, how would the post after mine been able to relate it? Nowadays there are magikal communities like this one where it is safe to discuss such things with people you dont know. Back then it wasnt. You had to talk face to face about it and in secret. I think that paranoia is what divides the past eras from the present. If you want to live in history thats fine. Dont stand in the way of progress though.

No matter the spell, ingredients, or what you think may happen, you will never grow wings. It is physically impossible. What you think you may feel is more than likely your mind making you think something is happening to you, when in truth, it is not. As many stated in the comments before your post, it is an impossible feat. Always remember, magic will not defy science.
