I like the idea of running water, i think that would be cool.
i use a ring on the end of some thread for a pendulum and so far have had great success with yes no type questions.
LBRP, then Meditate before hand and do central pillar visualization then bornless ritual and have added el adon, then after the qabala invocation rituals i'll scry. first time i did it, it blew me away.
Cleansing yourself can be simple as a bath with essential oil, flower essence, fragrance oil, gem water or salt added. Sometimes, people prefer showers using soap infused with botanical material. You can fast, mast commonly on water and apple cider for a day.
There are meditations and visualizations you can do to cleanse your mind. You can use incense or salt water in an asperger to cleanse an area.
Tools can be left in the sun, under the moon, in a black cloth, held over incense, flame, or under water, buried in salt or earth, and even whispered over.
i use the "asperges me" ritual for cleansing. if you dig on judeo Christian ritual then look no further. you can make a cleansing sort of bath with herbs (hyssop) and water or order one online:
asperges me hyssopo, et mundabor; lavabis me, et super nivem dealbabor
sprinkle me with hyssop and I shall be clean; wash me and I will be made whiter than snow (Psalm 51:7)
LBRP does a good job of keeping the area clean when you do your work, there again, your tradition may call for something different.
But if you can hit a good meditative state then i think you can scry real well.
Theres so much different stuff out there, whatever really resonates with you is best and the journey to find that makes it all worth while.
Thanx to you both. Looking back on it most of my visions in water have come within days of swimming in ocean. Maybe saltwater bath is needed. What is LBRP? I always think I know a lot til I come to websites or conferences or meetings or stores where I meet other practioners and realize I dont really know much of anything. LOL Kinda embarissing.
We all have much to learn! That's why this website was created; for practitioners to share knowledge and information world-wide. We're all on a learning venture. I have no idea what LBRP is either. Maybe we'll both learn something new today.
