Charging Items?

I have finally finished crafting my first and only wand. This will be my first time using one and thought it would be best to help direct my energy. I was wondering if I needed to charge it in any way, and how to do so.

Wands eventually lose it's charge ensuing a lower energy yield. It might not need to be charged right away but when you do, there are a few ways to go about it. You can leave it in the sunlight, or moonlight, or hold the wand in both of your hands and send energy into it. I'm not familiar with "pyramid chargers," but I was once told that they are also useful in that sense.

Once you have made your wand you are going to want to charge and consecrate it to make it energetically your own. There are many ways to go about doing this, but here are some articles to give you suggestions:
