Any luck with scrying?

I learnt with a bowl of water,darkened with ink. There are other ways, as on this thread.

A good way to start to scry, is with something basic. Like a bowl of water, like what Brysing said. Another more difficult way to scry (depending on your point of view) is using a clear quartz crystal ball.

I think you're trying too hard too. You should meditate and get into an altered state of mind first, and gaze on it in that altered state of mind. Don't look directly at it or TRY to see things. Let the images come to you on their own. Soft focus your eyes a little bit so your kind of looking through the crystal, not AT it. You might want to burn some candles, but not too close to the crystal; it could cause a distracting reflection on the ball. The flickering of the candles can help induce the altered state of mind, though.

Maybe try different methods of Skrying like in a bowl of water, in incense smoke, in the clouds, or maybe even just in shadows of buildings at night time.
