Are there any spells that you can cast instantly for combat?

Like say you where fighting Someone you don't have time to put up a pentagram and light a candle whilst fighting!

So is there something that can instantly cause someone harm after chanting something?

First there is no color in magick only intent. Second are you really sure you want to put that kind of negative energy out there? You do realize that what you put out is going to come back to you right? Choose what you do very carefully.

Sure. Expletives hurt people's feelings pretty instantaneously, and words are spells. (That's why they call it 'spelling!')

Magic is not a combat tool. There are some practices within it that are shared by a few martial arts techniques however magic is largely a spiritual pursuit and I would always urge someone not to rely upon it in a violent situation.
