Whoa...wait. You're going to stop? Okay...maybe you don't have to talk about it in FRONT of your parents. But if this is your chosen path, it is something you can't stop, like breathing. I have been interesting in this path of life for several years and yes, I'm in my 40s. I am also a Christian. I'm also a Wiccan. My parents haven't said too much to me and my dad is an Elder in the church, a chaplain in the motorcycle association, and is all thing Christian. My mom has been my pages on facebook in regards to the magic spells and such....nothing has been said. But then again, our family history goes back to the Salem witch trials and the intuitions and powers come down from both sides of my family. Please do not stop doing what you are meant to do.

Your personal life is not your parents

What you do does not effect them and what they don't know can't hurt them because if I ever cared I'd probably be going to a Catholic church and depressed or dead now

Wicca has helped me a lot and even though you want simply want to be a Christian witch (Yes they exist and yes they still pray to God) there is nothing wrong with that

Most of my family are very firmly Christian, and at one point I told my father that I was Wiccan. He couldn't sleep for 3 days straight, and cried several times at the thought of never being able to see me in Heaven.

I lied, and told him I was Christian again after that... Some members of my family are understanding, and they know what I practice, but for the rest, I leave them happily ignorant of this.

All I have to say about your particular situation is... Judge for yourself what is right, and who you should tell. Persecution of one's beliefs doesn't exist solely on the physical plane, but can also amount to emotional persecution by attacking your emotions directly, like my father did.

The question really is why did u turn to magic in the first place? And why do you want to tell your folks if you already know the outcome?
Magic isn't something u can decide to start or stop. Yes you might start/stop with spells or rituals. Its unsafe if you don't know what you are doing so stop if you feel better option for you it the easier way out. Or you could rather learn and become a helping force.
At the end of the day its ur decision and we can advise you but if you need convincing to remain then its not the path for you.
