Brysing, my issue was not your lack of belief in something that others believed in. My issue was that you aren't saying "I don't believe it is real", you are flat out saying that something isn't real at all. You talk about beliefs and truths, yet you cannot say for sure (as the case with all of the rest of us) that something is a truth. It can be a personal truth, as in someone resonates with an ideal, concept, etc, but that does not make it a definite truth. The way you go on makes it sound like you know what the definite truth is and that is just as misleading as someone who will say that something is real as an absolute truth to someone who is new, such as the original poster here. ScrirnoCaster needs to find out for himself whether or not he believes something is real.
Instead of asking if something is real and then receiving a yes or no answer, it would create less misunderstandings if one asked if it were possible it something was real, and the answer given should guide quarrant to their own answer, rather than instilling our own beliefs onto him. Had that been the case, much of this thread would not have needed to be said.

Acctualy it takes the Second Sight to see faeries as well as the dragons that live in this World. When your sighted, like me self , when you touch the Fae you can feel them physicaly. I know because there is a Faery King in my life right now. I can see him physically. He is inlove with me, he follows me around and sings love songs to me. In fact, he is so infatuated with me that he has taken a Glamour and dances with me in my Irish step dancing class- every other person can see him. I am European. Sometimes in northern Scandinavia I have seen dragons flying over some distant mountains. My father who lives in Norway has the sight too-and he too,has seen them. :)

Faeries and dragons arn't spirits. They are physical but it takes the Second Sight to see them. People with the Sight, like Meself can feel the faeries physically when they touch us or we touch them. Yes, you can visit the faeries through meditations but it isn't spiritual ones you see. I visited a faery king who loves me through a meditation. Before I did that, he is in my life physically . Meditation with the Fae-it's just an alternative to speeking face to face to the Fae. But if you do speek to them through meditation , it is still equalably as dangerous with their food and drink as it is if you tast it physically. How do I know? You may ask: because one night I was visited in a dream and through a interrupted meditation by this faery king who at the time I did not know. I drank a sip of his wine and ate some if his food that he offered me- now that I did that a part of myself is stuck in that place in the spirit world or Otherworld and I can't get myself back in my body- grounding doesn't even work- I can't do it so it works again until I accept that king's offer. And I always crave that faery wine and food that the king forced me so "romantically" to eat with him. Whenever he is around me face to face I crave that wine I drank from his goblet in that dream and meditation. Now the king is more passionatly in love with me and follows me around and is wooing me. O-o and you call faeries spirits. I am sorry but that can't be possible!!!
I don't mean to be rude but I wouldn't put a lot of faith into WiccySanar's story as it sounds more like they're on drugs than seeing real dragons and stuff

And if you study the Draconic Path, you will learn that dragons don't willingly show themselves unless you've gained their trust, which is incredibly hard to do. Dragons are very much spiritual and seeing a physical dragon could mean powerful illusion. But I'm not saying you can't see them you just have to try not to interact with them directly until they are comfortable with your presence.
WiccySanar is confusing lore with practice. When it comes to those who work with Fae or dragons, they work with their energy and spirits, not make it out to be a Mary Sue fantasy novel.
Have you researched the Fae, Scirno? I would suggest you do that before you try to work with them as it will help you in the long run. As was said before, there are plenty of books, pdf's, sites, etc that can help you learn them. Visit the lore they come from, but don't take it literally, as in the physical sense. Just be sure to cross reference and validate your sources in researching.
Also, second sight is another term for psychic senses, where you specifically sense things that are not physical.
My spirit guide is a great white dragon, whom I talk to often. I don't put down those who don't believe as I wouldnt want them to put me down for believing. I know what I know tho and I would be lost without my guide.
