OR just not bother with them at all unless you're a necromancer proficient in necromancy. But since true necromancers are far and few inbetween today, leave the spirit realm alone...

i was born with the ability to see ghosts. it isn't that pleasant. i get made fun of for it. anyway there are 3 planes of reality. the first is the material plane that we all are in. then is the ghost plane were ghosts are. then there is a connecting plane were ghosts can pass through but humans can't. ghosts have trouble passing through but sometimes get through. people like me can see through the diffrent planes of reality

I agree with artindark. And don't mess with ghosts or spirits. I had some that visit every now and then. As long as they follow your rules of your place, then all seems fine. But getting one that isn't friendly, or wants to cause trouble is not fun. I now cleanse my place to keep all out, until I'm open to have the friendlies come again. Just let them know you are open to the friendly ones passing through, but protect yourself. Have a wayh to banish them in case a bad one comes through. Get to know what you are doing first is my advice. Blessed Be...

I agree with the previous poster- don't try to mess with ghosts and spirits. Some are benevolent and harmless, some are apathetic; and some really hate people's guts. Necromancy is an, at best, unwieldy art; at worst, dangerous. If you ever do try to contact a spirit, I suggest casting plenty of protection spells- and cast a binding circle if anything goes out of hand.
