There's a flaw in this story...xD How could he have waited 36 years for someone to turn 18? That's O.o Chronologically impossible.

Aside form that, idk. I don't believe in absolute love, I don't believe in a love that is unbreakable. Some people are just made more for each other than, eh, others.

Well humans are social, some more than others.Sometimes to the extend of picking friends above lovers.People can also be brainwashed by parents,I've seen it with some people.I doubt she would be possessed, most likely bewitched instead. But sometimes things aren't ment to be and the strongest, most enduring and hated option is acceptance.Accept things that are out of our hands.

Oh, he has tried to accept and forget her, many times. But he can't, he knows they are for each other. But it is interesting to know what a third party thinks of this trial.

I believe there is true love... Or at least I know there is. I have my own experience with somewhat similar love. I know a girl who I love with all my heart body and soul and would give anything to be with her if I could. I over the short four years I have known her I have always loved her though I didn't realize what I would be getting myself into when I met her. I can remember it vividly. 6th grade. We were in gym together and one day we were all walking around the school track and suddenly she coughs my eye. Not the most beautiful or talented girl but I knew she was right for me. I passed her around the track maybe 4 times listening to her voice asking people about her when finally she approached me and began to playfully antagonize me. (She had noticed me days before and was even bugging my twin about me). This turned into a cat and mouse ketch me if you can friendship. Then a few weeks later we went skating and I got my first girlfriend. I was also her first boyfriend. Our relationship was only for a week due to her family. But that was ok because we weren't quite ready for each other yet. I tried to forget but I couldn't. I found myself to afraid to really talk to her. And judging by get 7 boyfriends after me I'm guessing she tried to forget to. Time passed. Nearly a year before I finally talked to her again. It's been nearly 3 years since I finally started talking to her again and we have been together about 5 times in the 3 years. A few times she has tried to get a "home run" so to speak with me.(... It's funny. She wants to skip a few bases but i wont let her. bot untill i know she will truly be mine) Now we sit as awkward friends waiting for the other to make a move. I dare not for fear of a broken heart yet again. But I will wait for her to finally decide if she truly wants to be with me. I believe that I truly love her though I don't fully know why.

Well, true love in my opinion is the reunion of a single soul, split into two bodies with half of the personality between the two. It would take time to discover who is the one for you, but usually there will be a dramatic fight, or a sort of (what I say) a trial. For the both to realize the true love between them they need to be able to do anything for each other and realize themselves the'll go through any obstacle to get to him/her.

As I explained in this thread my dear friend is going through said trial, if the roles were switched they'd be together already. But they are where they are and who they are for a reason. She needs to break out of her comfort zone, ignore her inner demons and possessing demon, ignore the fear of standing up to others and go to him. Its legal for her now since she's 18, she just needs to get over her fears and they could be together. But its hard, and the struggles to try and speed things up has only failed at every attempt between him and his family against her. But I only believe she'll break through somehow.

I believe that this is true love. They will find a way to be together. If not, may the world be exposed as a fraud. But this is true love and true love will never lose. It will devour everything in its way if it has to.
