I was agnostic throughout my childhood. My parents weren't the type to indocterinate me into a religion, they respected my abilitiy as an intelligent human being to make a decision on my personal beliefs.

When I was young, my parents woukd take us to Christian Churches from many different denominations, both of them said they were Christian, but they had their own belifs that many Christians did nit have, and ommited many of the beliefs Christians do have, so I consider them more of Unitarian Universalists. I've been
Christian, Wiccan, Uniterian Universalist, Hellenistic Pagan, and Eclectic Pagan.

Christian, though we never really went to church a lot. My constant reading exposed me to other beliefs and made me quistion the things I had been told. I ran across a book on wicca when I was 18 and it made such perfect sense and meshed so well with what I already believed. The rest, as they say, is history.

I was raised a strict, strait-laced, Fundamentalist Christian and I didn't like it at all. I accepted Christ when I was 6 and swallowed all I was taught without question because I was raised like that. When I was ten, I woke up and realized that something was wrong (I know, that is a bit young, but I was always a precocious-meaning highly intelligent-kid) I read about what Jesus actually taught and it was nothing like I what I was being fed. I went from Fundamentalist Christian to liberal Christian, then when I was 19 I became a Christian Wiccan.

My parents were eclectic heathens. I grew up learning about Heathenry, though I didn't come to grow an interest in it until I was older. Now I'm Lokean/Rokkatru which is simply another branch of Heathenry. So I suppose I stuck with the religion I grew up around.
