My beef is that the bible and karan and so forth has lead nothing to war and mass killing. I have read the books and analyzed it its horrible worshiping a mad bloodthirsty monster ordering parents to eat their kids. You leave out darkness you leave out the other half calling everything the bible dosen't agree with as monstrous and evil. Im sick of it. Im sick of this idiotic notion that because God said this or God said that people have the right to harass murder and attack people. Those books have done nothing but ruin lives and im done with anything related to those books. I am tired of being attacked for my choices my beleifs my path and what i choose to do. Anyone who dares call me evil ro going to hell will receive the backlash of the century. I dont attack people because of their faith but i hate those faiths with a passion and would see them all burn before ever dealing with such monstrous notions such as the bible. rejecting your dark side rejecting hate and everything "bad" will lead us to our doom. The 7 sins are progress desires and what made us who we are today im sick and tired of things being called "EVIL". You want to reject the other side go ahead see how far you flipping make it

Plus ever since the dark ages the world has been a junk heap. Corruption and greed is flipping everywhere even the vatican does it. Those books are not spiritual at all they don't even teach good morals the first few commandments are kiss gods big rear. How the hell si that spiritual at all. You dont grow by kissing up to somebody. You don't grow by rejecting everything that goes your way. There is such closed minded ness to "taboo" things its madenning how people have become like little robots. The bible has ruined humanity and its time people realize we need to get rid of all creeds if we ever are going to evolve and grow. Creeds and man made rules for mass amounts of epople never work becuase we are all different. Enough with the herd mentatlity grow a damn backbone and think for yourselfs.

I agree with you the bible has caused many problems yet has also inspired a lot of people to do good in the world what you have got to remember is that there is no such thing as a bad religion or bad book its all down to there being bad people.

If the peope eren't twisted or just moronic in the first place the atrocious acts would never have taken place its my opinion those who did take part had a lack of common sense.

I have an aversion to the bible however I don't hate it some of it is very beautiful and peaceful other parts aren't. My holy book the book of the Law also mentions of sacrificing a child however I have the common sense not to do this and understand it is to be taken as a metaphor for another magickal act which I won't state here because it is up for each individual to draw meaning from the book of the law. But I don't believe it to be an evil book some of it is very beautiful other parts a bit horrific, but very metaphorical.

You have got to remember from the same book that caused murder comes "Love thy neighbour" the book (new testament) anyway and old testament " thou shalt not kill" definitely are against murder however stupid twisted people see what they want to see and cause holocaust of witches and the crusades.

Theres a Yin to every Yang. As a spiritual Satanist (who does not follow JoyofSatan) I can say we don't like the Abrahamic religons (often called Zionist) because we assosiate it with death, violence, and misleading. Christians don't like us Satanists for the same bases. At a root point the hate started when (as always) people get misinformed/misled. I can only hope common sense makes a comeback.

I reject anything that chains people. Those books do nothing but make people slaves. They can't even think for themselves. I'm sick and tired of all the abramic faiths amkign a mess of everything because they reject the dark side so damn much. The more they reject the more problems they make. They have caused more damage then helped.

"Why is it that people associate Crowley with Satanism? He was not a Satanist and Liber al vel Legis (The Book of the Law) has nothing to do with Satanism.

Totally true

Wiccans equally reject the "dark side" of life, as well as many other religions. It's human nature to embrace only what is "pleasant" and reject anything that could trigger fears or be considered "ugly" such as death.

However, most satanists do not view themselves as dark people and quite the opposite, feel their way is the most natural and positive way.

Pointing fingers at other religions makes you no better than them pointing fingers at us (Pagans and Heathens).
