I was actually informed that lemon is a bleach, so be careful with putting that on your face. If you have dark skin you don't want spots! Lemons can be used for lightening your hair and lightening freckles and such :)

Try dabbing apple cider vinegar on the acne areas with a cotton ball
If you have body acne put two cups of the apple cider vinegar in warm bath water.

My sister had terrible acne. I felt bad for her when she'd get made fun of for it. It was a pretty bad case, not as bad a some though. So she went to the dermatologist, and they prescribed her a face wash, toner, and lotion that she was to use 1-2 times a day. Now she has pretty clear skin, of course not all of it was gone, but it evened her skin tone and really helped with bothersome white heads.

Sometimes if your not getting enough sleep it can cause you to breakout more. While school was going on I'd never get enough sleep so I'd look terrible. Over the summer I got good amounts of sleep and my face cleared up pretty nicely. But definetly wash your face daily and try not to touch your face.. especially if you eat greasy food don't touch!!

one word, Tea Tree oil...okay that's three, but it works wonders! Trust me, I too suffer from acne I also use that, and an apricot scrub daily also, remember to moisturize daily after washing your face when you skin is dry, it will create more oils to make up for the loss creating acne! Remember to wash your face twice a day, once in the morning, and once before bed.
~Good luck! Sparkle.

Well, Sometimes, all your body needs is the right nutritional balance and proper skin care. Here are some easy things you can start doing today to help you heal your acne. You should notice a difference in about 4 weeks. I know, that isn't immediate however it's worth it !

you may simply apply a honey mask to your face once or twice a week - Honey has antibacterial properties so it is great for disinfecting and healing minor blemishes. It is also gentle on sensitive skin. Also sometimes people forget that they need to Wash twice a day with acne soap . You should wash your face twice a day with a sulfur based soap designed for acne. Once when you first wake up in the morning and then, right before you go to bed at night. Be extremely gentle to your skin when washing - do not scrub or use any sort of rough cloth. Overwashing your skin will actually stimulate your sebaceous glands to produce more sebum, thus increasing your acne. I also recommend you to take a potent multi-vitamin - Acne can be a sign that something is wrong on the inside. Your skin depends on nutrition. It is a vital organ that is usually neglected. If your body is not receiving the right nutrition, it will fight back. One common way it will rebel is to produce excessive sebum, clogging pores, and reducing the ability for your skin to heal and fight bacteria
I believe vitamin A is helpful in that case while carrots are rich of it. Vitamin A strengthens the protective tissue of the skin and actually prevents acne. It helps reduce sebum production. This vitamin is essential for the maintenance and repair of the tissue which the skin and mucous membranes are made of. Vitamin A is also a powerful antioxidant needed to rid your body of toxins.A deficiency in vitamin A can actually cause acn...

On a side and more personal note If you have long hair or bangs, pull your hair off your face. Your hair contains oils as well, and will contribute to your breakouts. You'll also want to wash your hair everyday and after workout. Also remember that leaving makeup products on your skin only contributes to clogging your pores, causing more pimples and blackheads. If you feel you must wear makeup, be sure it is water-based.;)

A few weeks ago I made a recipe for acne as i deal with it as well.
I took a few herbs and boiled them in water, strained it and then mixed the water into lotion and I apply that to my face at night after i wash my face.
I've actually noticed some BIG changes, so I will share this recipe with you.

The Ingredients:
2 part Rosemary
1 1/2 part Calendula Petals
1/2 part Chickweed
about a cup of water
and a forth a cup of lotion.

You'll also need a pot to boil over a stove, a bottle and cheese cloth.

First you mix the herbs together and put them in the water in the pot and begin boiling it on low heat for five or so minutes until the water turns yellow from the calendula petals. Let it cool off a bit then mix it in with the lotion.
You can be the judge of how much to mix in, you don't wanna put in too much or the lotion will be too watery.
And you also don't need to use a lot of it, I only use a tiny bit to just thinly layer my face. Although, because it is lotion if your skin is oily you can use just the herb water.
For best results you should use this after you cleanse your face with whatever store bought facial wash you normally use. And if it is serious you should maybe see a doctor, they can prescribe things to help with that.

Also eating healthy, cutting down on soda and greasy food and such will help a lot
