Hecate.
as long as i can remember, there has been a certain energy i felt wasnt my own. I would run around my back yeard pretending i was a witch flying on a broomstick, mixing dirt with my hands, pretending i was making a secret magic mixture. and ive always lived next to a crossroad.
When i finally discovered witchcraft was an actual religion(i was about 11) i started to get into studying it and finding things out.
Years later,Hecate revealed herself to me one night , days before a full moon. I was walking down the creek and stopped to admire the scene of the creek and a willow tree. I turned around and seen the crossroad infront of my house, and all the neighbor hood dogs seemed to start barking at once.
I kneeled down and I heard the whispers of a calling.

hecate has been with me since.

i honor a lot of various Egyptian deities and dragons. i have learned about both since childhood, so i follow them for that reason. the two deities i call my God and Goddess i feel drawn to for some reason, i won't say them because i feel it's personal so someone shouldn't go around saying who they honor. sometimes though, especially around holidays, i feel drawn to the Horned God and Triple Goddess.

i find more wisdom and inspiration from certain people than my God or Goddess. while i don't go around spreading the word of Richard Hunt [one of my idols] i do try and live my life by his example. i don't pray to him or have a statue of him [got a biography though lol] but if you are looking for good lessons and dogma's to live by, you can find them in so many places, it doesn't have to be a immortal being that shapes you. i do try and do well by my God and Goddess, but i think there was more of a spiritual impact by people i admire.

@nicole-you know nicole, i really love being attached to misinterpreted things.. like my friends here in our town, most of them are being judged by the majority and i happen to "always" fight for them.. lol..

same as with lucifer.. besides, i am not the one who came to him on the first place because way back those times when i felt that i am walking alone in the dark, azazel and lucifer showed themselves to me.. and i reallt got comfortable and secured with them.. ;)

hope this would answer your questions.. ;)

namaste.. ;)

I wouldn't say "worship", as much as "honour." For me it would it is Perun. I do think that there are other gods and goddesses, but Perun is the one I'm closest to.

In my path I acknowledge, respect, and appreciate all dieties, gods, goddesses, and so on; no matter the belief system, culture, path, or religion. I don't worship any particular deity but I do have a personal hierarchy of divinity that I serve, although it can be complicated to explain to others. I am a shaman, however, I practice my own tradition and path of shamanism and thus it isn't culturally specific. I will tell you that I love and embrace the 'Creator' whom I regard as the supreme being and spirit. I also serve and respect the spirits whom in my belief are classified into many tribes and families, most of which are higher beings. As far as particular dieties I am akin to Danu and Dagdha, as well as a list of other dieties from several pantheons; most notably Celtic, Greek, Native American, Egyptian, Hindu. I also respect, appreciate, and serve Buddha and follow the five precepts of Buddha in my path and practices.

I agree, I really dislike the word "worship" but I do "honor" the Great Spirit/Mother of creation. I honor and respect all spirits, great and small, as long as they show me respect and do not act maliciously toward me or wish me harm. I believe in anamism, so everything in nature has a spirit. When it comes to deities, I see them as higher spirits. I don't honor one over another, but different ones depending on the circumstance. I see deites as "high spirits of (whatever they govern over)".

When it comes to pantheons, I have a special connection to certain ones, particularly Brigid, Morrigan, Zeus/Odin/Lugh that I believe are the same male being (Lugh parallels both Loki AND Odin combined, so indirectly Loki). Although the Basque goddess Mari makes her presence known in my life despite the fact that I've never honored her nor feel the desire to. Why still remains a mystery to me. I can only guess she is connected to or is the same spirit as Morrigan, who I have always loved.

I honor the elements as I would a deity. I pray to them every day, give offerings of my energy. I think it is best for one to study who they wish to be their deity, both through reading and by feeling their energy and knowing it.

I am not familiar with freyr. What made you decide to honor the religion that you were taught from a young age rather vthan look elsewhere?
