Many eastern religions already mix martial arts (or a form of them) and spirituality. Much in the same way you described, purifying and strengthening the body to aid in or independently improve spiritual welfare and status with the forces that be involving the after life. If such religions are already so well founded with such similar premises as the ones your employing, and are already more fleshed out and stable in their mechanics than your's, what about Anamerism should attract me to it? Does it offer an insight or wisdom that they do not? If yes, what is it?
Redcat , people are constantly asking you questions as you have not give much information to your religion in the first place . You say you are here to spread a new religion , but your information is vague , insubstantial .
You also reply to our questions with rather half hearted replies and non informative answers thus the long tirade of questions . You should create a site for it saying all the information your religion has thus far .
Your religion is also not fleshed out enough from what I am seeing so far . What are the personalities of the various gods and goddesses ? What specific purpose is that diety supposed to be for ? Have you ever thought about that?
Do you have this legalized as an actual religion or is this just your personal belief you claim as religion and hope other people join in? I ask because there are some places that require legalization to make a religion. And then you won't get much of any where if you can't proper back up your own beliefs and properly describe and exemplify your beliefs and practices.
Although I admire your effort, there's minute details to this "religion" as is, you don't seem to be backing up your own beliefs to very well, and the whole things seems highly questionable from the get-go.
I wouldn't be too worried about the religions legal status, since some European countries recognize Kopimism(the religion of piracy) as a religion. So I'm not too trustworthy with governments deciding what constitutes as a religion.
However getting a religion legalized could be used as sort of a confirmation in the face of doubts that your religion is well organized.
Religion is defined as a set of doctrines or beliefs constituting worship or followership of centralized ideals, concepts, philosophies, etc...
One abstract idea literally being just taking martial arts and magic and using it for spiritual growth is not a religion, it's an idea.
Not only that, but the whole thing sounds like a roleplaying game the kid has decided to make real.
For god's sake read his profile, notice something? He's obviously no master in magic related knowledge and I doubt he's as skilled as Shaolin Monk. Even if he did have a set of legitimate beliefs to base the religion, he's in no position to mentor or teach people of his religion.
