Well the fluffies aren't going anywhere so perhaps they should have there own dedicated space on the website. That way everyone gets what they want.

The main problem is a lot of people on this are hugly selfish when dealing with fluffies. They never want to help just throw things at them and "hope it goes away" you ignore the problem so guess what it gets freaking bigger. I agree as well people are harassed and always are put down in this society yet no one does anything we sit here and what? Make fun of them? Get pissed? When was the last time you actually had a real talk with them to help them get through that to show them being yourself is the most powerful thing. Oh but its hard you say they never listen you say well guess what thats the same with anybody with any problem there going to deny it at first it taes time and dedication and if some still dont get it well that happens to but its no excuse to give up and kick them to the curb.

The movies make it seem like being a vampire or a mermaid or whatever is the best thing in the world. When you really, really reaaaaaallllyy think about it, though... it doesn't sound so great. From a young age, kids hear all this stuff about all the horrid things humans are doing and how there is no escape, and eventually they're going to believe that. Then, that child goes to see a movie. In the movie, a mermaid is living a free and peaceful life. The child instantly wants to be a mermaid. It's really sad how we've made our race hate ourselves...

What we, as Moderators, try to do on this site,is to tell the truth. So we do try to steer the youngsters away from Fluff. We don't really condemn Fluff; merely set them on the Fantasy Spells.
Many are just kids having fun.Arguing against the "grown ups".
It has always been the same. And so it should be, to some extent. It is how the human race has progressed. Had humans not "dreamed" of flying, there would be no aeroplanes.
However, fantasy is one thing, truth is something else.

Frankly, from a psychological perspective, fantasy is really no different than a recreational drug. Fantasy tends to release dopamine's, just like if they ingested an actual narcotic. It becomes an addiction, to which the addict simply cannot distinguish between fantasy/ collective reality. Granted, there are Trolls out there who just like to rile the hive, but like any addiction, fantasy can be beaten. That is where the Mods come in, as well as those who know fact from fiction. Fluffers are those individuals that continually post the same idiotic things, after being warned. But Brysing is correct; the Mods try to steer these people in a logical direction.

it has been mentioned that the minimum age requirement should be raised. i disagree. im 14, but i dont think im fluffy. ive come to accept that we are who we are. but if the age requirement is raised, then it would kick out a lot of serious practitioners.

Raising age requirement seems like a hallow gesture, due to the nature of the internet.

Why not just ask a fluff and gather data. P.S. why put labels on people , that's how prejudice starts.

Plus why do you expect that their is one magickal answer to explain why fluffys try to become something different. Not all fluffys are the same person , so their reasons their dreams and desires are different. Their is no one answer.

This is an ancient thread that really doesn't need resurrection as it just serves to annoy people no matter which side of the argument they take.
