My opinion on this site

hehe I agree with SOME little points on this post :P and tanner, when you said who ever asked immortal what she thinks? wellllll correct me if I'm wrong, but 1) everyone's entitled to their own opinion and 2) I thought these forums were meant to express ones feelings, thoughts or questions? soooo YEEERRRR sorry bout that :-P

but yea, I totally love heaps of people on here, so I won't think about moving for a while :P and as for the whole belief thing? all for that sister! people call us vamps fake, but here we are, real as life itself! but don't let those jerks bring ya down sis!

I want to leave to a lot of things you have to lie about not to get picked on at. I belive in your way of werewolves, vampires, and other things. i've just never been able to put it in words. You should leave if you wan't too. Nothing will change and I'm sorry for you. Hope you find a better path than this. Blessed be. Miss you.

Tanner didn't you learn something from our last fight?

I'm not going to make a big argument about this - since that is a waste of my time when I could be learning or helping some one - but tanner, the post is made in the comments section. A specific section where you can make comments about things (including how the site is in your opinion) whether some one asks you of your opinion or not. Just like immortal made her honest opinion without being asked to, you made your honest opinion without being asked to. No one said "hey, tanner, will you comment on this post?" Unless you actually did which is another story. But I digress. People will believe what they want to believe whether you tell them what is true or not. What is real and what is fake. Now if you jump in and start calling people out and saying "that's fake you, can't do that" more likely than not you are actually going to aid them in believing what you claim is fake. You are going to hurt them more than you are intending to help them. Especially when you come off as rather rude and screaming "Fluffy!" But because of this they will definitely be hurt and they will more than likely go and learn more about what they are claiming to be real and they will learn every thing they can to come back and shove it down your throat to prove you wrong. Thus we have going on a big quarrel between people of the same to similar practices fighting and bickering about what's fake and what's real. This is part of why so many members leave. Why this site has a bad reputation whether it's a lot or a little. This site is meant for people of similar beliefs to come together and teach and learn and share knowledge. Not put people down for what they believe. I mean by , this is ridiculous. Every one has their own beliefs. Learn to respect others and appreciate them for what they believe and you will get the same in return. You cannot demand respect. Respect is earned. You get what you give. You take what you make and you get what you give. Don't sit there and go "no, you are wrong. That's fake. You can't do that. Do it how I tell you." Instead be more respectful in such a way as for example "I appreciate you're sharing your belief. This is my belief and why I believe it....." this holds ground for a better community. A better learning experience. Respect. A better Spells of Magic.

I still hate people who fill others with their lies and get their hopes up about things being real maybe if more people would stop I'd be nicer to them

Like I said, I'm not going to argue about it. I gave good ways you can help in the matter without you making or worse and you refuse to do the right thing. So you have fun with what you do tanner.

I've never, nor will I ever, judge someone by their beliefs. If you believe yourself to be a werewolf, vampire, etc. then so be it. Its only when someone asks for a spell to become one, or says they're all powerful and disrespects me or someone else, is when I correct them. I believe they're all out there, but I know magick cannot change yourself into one. To be honest, I love listening to proof, ways of life, and beliefs of people such as yourself. As long as you're respectful to us, I'm respectful of you. I really hate the word "fluffy" but its used quite often, even by me sometimes. Yeah, when you say you're a vampire who knows everything and calls me a fool, I call you a fluff. I'm not proud of saying it, but by definition that's what a fluff is.

Point is: I'm open minded, but I will ask questions and try and be logical.

SoM is one of the most popular sites in the world in regards to its nature or specific field of interest. Where there is a popular, community based, free, everyone is allowed website there will be disputes and arguments. Along with that, there will be idiots and roleplayers that take things out of movies and expect to apply them to their lives. You cannot join a website as big as SoM and expect there won't be people like this, the best you can do is attempt to talk to any that may inquire and set them straight. Just leave the delusional to their fantasies, there's not much more you can hope for besides one day when they come to face the truth.

We all handle reality differently, and not everyone will agree with a person's specific way of doing so.

hehe i agree with most of these posts (except 2, and i wont mention them but i think they know who they are ;)) and i must say, i have more respect towards most of you than i did before :D
Anyways, immortal, if your viewin this post girl, i hope you find a better site that fits your beliefs, and if you do, would ya mind sharing it with me? :P I wouldnt mind a few sites that share my vampirism, besides my dad!
And gettin back to the post, amber, neko, vanity and unirelivent, you guys rock in my opinion :D and i agree with the whole 'magick cant turn you into a vampire and were all high and mighty with great intelligence power' because thats how i feel :) i was born this way, only half of what i am, pretty stupid at times, doesnt suck anyones blood, hates fights and arguments and makes friends with almost everyone :D So i guess you can say im somewhat more of a little friendly pixie than a vampire xD

You know ive been on here for only under a year and I watched the chat and saw the various names and attitudes that only a group of maybe about 15 people would use ,I went to someone to write pm to
someone as my fist attempt at using chat but i got it wrong and it came up in public chat ,it wasnt anything just was he going into coven chat ,,well next thing up came on the screen epic fail ,then again and again and again from supposedly knowegable people well that was it never back on it since,i am sure i am not alone sitting in the wings but the same people would say we were coven monkeys ,yes driven there by who?? would it not be better to say oh you got it wrong you should have done this ,well i have a great respect for this site and its members old and new and all the covens,but when you moderators are looking on and picking up
on various mistakes like capitals / strechy words/non magical topics,wouldnt it be good if you were to look out for the mistakes of new people and make sure they dont get blasted by so called knowlegable people who might be your friends but you also surley have the task of looking after new members as well,,,so enough from me but a big thanks to a 13yr old girl for saying something that a 50yr old has taken nearly a year to say.
