I would use rose otto essential oil or rose absolute as cheapest alternative and simply rub them in the inner side of my wrists ,where you can sense your pulse .Another way is to add them to oil burner .Another essential oil we use for grief and pain are marjoram ,benzoin and melissa (lemon balm ) or hyssop essential oil .If you are about to rub marjoram or melissa in your skin you should mix them with carrier oils ,such sweet almond oil ,grapeseed oil or apricot kernel ,since they can irritate sensitive skin ,also you must add one drop of those for 10 ml of carrier oil .Make sure you test the the mixture for allergic reaction before you decide to rub it all over your body !Avoid essential oils if pregnant except if your doctor do not advice you to do so .
