Spider Leg?
By:
Weirdest thing this morning.
After I woke up, I checked my Alter to make sure nothing was out of place, or missing, as I usually do. Nothing was missing, but I did have a little surprise setting in the middle of my Alter.
Just one single spider leg.
I'm not certain how it got there, or why, but it was there.
Spiders aren't really my cup o' joe, and I didn't want to move it incase there was a reason it was there, so I had asked my lovely boyfriend, to investigate it. :P
It's long, black, and has a bit of yellow at the base, where it would be connected to the body of the spider.

Any ideas on what this could possibly be? I've tried looking it up, but no luck. :/

Blessed Be and Thank You!

Well, the spider could be your spirit animal, if things like this happen often. Or maybe a spider simply lost a leg. It could be some kind of "sign" or "omen" but things like that aren't really my specialty.

Blessed be!

That's definitely not the first time I've found a spider leg recently.
About a week or so ago, I had one on my shirt after I woke up. That one was a bit smaller and a lighter colour.
As I said, I'm not a spider person, so I usually sweep away the cobwebs in my home and especially in my room.

I would look up the spider, as it may be trying to teach you something. Spirit animals come when needed, and maybe it's time you need to learn about it. If it repeatedly comes, then it must be important to you.

I wish you luck with your search.(:

I generally find it best not to read into such things. Chances are you've just got spiders in your house, and they have been known to lose legs.

Are you certain its a spider leg? It could be any insect. I've yet to see a label on a bug leg. I'm all for omens and signs, but you may want to let this one go as a natural phenomenon.

Spiders scare me enough. I don't want to think about what other creepy crawlies might be roaming around my home. :p

First, make sure it isn't the leg of a camel cricket. Those things are adorable in my opinion, but they tend to lose legs. Especially their back legs, which are yellowish at the thigh. And they sometimes wander into houses and start families. They aren't at all harmful, in fact they usually don't mean to wander into houses except on accident. And theyre sweet, gentle creatures. The problem with them is that they hop... A lot... And really high. So it can be intimidating lol. But as for whether or not it's an omen, I would say most likely not if it's a camel cricket. They lose legs quite often, and I've seen them wander in beds, which is why you may have awoken to a leg. And it's likely the little extensions on his leg got caught in your blanket/clothing and tore it off :( poor guy. But as for your alter, the bug was probably just exploring. They love checking out everything to find a new home due to their always getting lost accidentally in houses. I feel as though the camel cricket might be your culprit, so hopefully this was helpful. If you're wondering how I know this... It's because my house has a ton of these guys in it :p and I just can't bring myself to kill such harmless creatures, so I live along side them. They very well could be your spirit animal, and it's possible that it's a sign, but don't yet assume that, because finding these guys in a house is actually pretty common, it's happened to many people I know other than myself. So check into them, and pay close attention to their legs. I'd like to point out, where you said the leg was black, I've noticed some of these bugs have a much darker pigment than others. I've seen some light brown and some black, so make sure you look at a lot of pics before assuming anything.

Just went to google images, and if you google image camel cricket leg, look at the differences in the legs on the first two pages and you should get an idea on whether or not this was your bug. Good luck!
