I wouldn't bother with that. I personally disagree with anyone who says they can control an element as such. It is beyond our capabilities to alter elements in such a way as described.

As Personified said, it is beyond the capabilities of us to control and element as such.

Don't be fooled into thinking that having an 'element' gives you amazing powers with that particular element. I suggest you read this post, in the second post Awake covers the elements, in my opinion, perfectly.

you can try rain spells, but don't expect to become some kind of waterbender.

if your elements water, i'd look into potions because a potion is a liquid spell basically. also, look at the elements qualities, and try focusing on spells that are similar. example, healing and/or purification.
