Ok I think I've read more than I would have chose to if I knew what it would entail. And through this and other threads is the same egotistical behavior over and over. Epona there isn't a single post of objective opinion that doesn't include what supposed generation you are or you supposedly being a blood witch. In one thread you are a 13th generation blood witch and in this one you are a 7th generation blood witch, personally I am starting to wonder if you can keep track of have the crap you state, because of that alone you are making yourself look questionable on your own accord.

You will arrogantly state a remark, then spend the next 10 posts rebutting everyone else's opinion "because they took it wrong", if everyone seems to be taking it wrong, then maybe you should think a little more before you reply.Your posting history is publicly accessible here, everything you post is easily referenced so if people are indeed getting the wrong idea, then start paying attention to what you say, as we all will remember it.

Truthfully the entire idea of "blood witch" cracks me up, like trying to say you are of a different species. Witchcraft has been practiced on this planet since the caveman days, easily. 7 different continents on this planet with all sorts of tribes, beliefs, languages, and even religions. To discern the beginning of witchcraft and who first practiced it is impossible. The history of this planet and its people is not clearly recorded anywhere. To suggest that this planet was created housing witches and then other people is ridiculus. To claim to be 7th or 13th generation "blood witch" is asinine, that only covers maybe 200 yrs or less. So what was your family before that? Christians? Are you saying your family just happen to appear 200 yrs ago, out of thin air? Not likely.

A form of witchcraft has been practiced on every continent before Christianity made its move world wide. Looking at known documented history, Canada, North and South American was covered with what we here in the states call Native American tribes which all had their individual practices. Centuries ago the French brought Christianity to England when it was under French rule. Some time later explorers went looking for "new worlds", English settlers landed in what is now the US, and French settlers took over what is now Canada. (Long story short.) Minus the Native Americans, and small handful of Pagan practitioners (Non-Native), both Canada and North America were hit with a boat loads of Christians. (Christianity being the majority at the time.)

Magick or witchcraft as a whole has been passed on generation after generation, and with this planet currently being covered with approx. 34 billion people thats a lot of generations. And none of them being specifically witchs, nobles, or peasants. No witch on this site is anymore real than the next. Knowledge or ideals could be questionable, but not who we are. I couldn't tell you how long my family line is, although I could tell you that I'm the 3rd generation born in America and the rest of my known ancestors hailed from Germany. Before then I have no clue. I can also tell you that my family line encompasses general Christian faiths, Catholics, a couple of Jewish faith, though mostly Pagan or Wiccan. Is my family line one of the first to practice? Not likely as it was started by more than a handful of family lines I'm sure.

Everyone born is a blood witch, as witchcraft is of nature. We are simply born with differing gifts. Though there is one comment you make that really has me wonder about you Epona, and we'll use this reference as you made it: a real witch follows the Witch's Creed. The Witch's Creed, not to be confused with the Wiccan Rede (two completely different documents written 3 different people), was written by Doreen Valiente who lived from 1922 - 1999. So by your own words "a real witch follows the Witch's Creed" are you implying that everyone including your past generations were fake witches? Well anyone before 1978, which is when the Creed was published in Valiente's book "Witchcraft For Tomorrow" (ISBN0709052448); and finally made public.

Over all in general with all the "New Age" hype I think the meaning of being witch or pagan has been lost. To commune with others and celebrate the changing of the seasons, thanks the powers that be for a chance to be here and truly live is more the meaning. Being able to understand how nature works and interact with it in a positive way is just a bonus. ;-)

take a critical view of everything. ur visions could be thoughs, but then again they may not. note also she was a malicious evil women, this could travel beyond the grave. Also, it is a cool fact, if it is fact, but even so u do this for atention. noone deep inside wants to be related to an evil women(yes, she was a murderer, an evil killer who killed for NO real reason). I have heard that we can only have dreams within our bloodline, but as was previously stated, we all are of the same blood. blood is blood, cats and dogs even have it, it all originates from the same sorce. if u truely believe u r her decendant, please ask for forgiveness of the sins wich remain in ur blood, u do not want her curses on ur sholders. yes, it us cool, im related to a very cool person, but i feel it a descrace to his good name to brag, when i cannot prove our realation. Please ask urslef, would u, right now, want to be a murderer, and bath in there blood, and be hated and called evil? no...i hope not. please, ask ur blood be purified. bloody mary can bring u no good, exept lessons of how not to be evil...

So my mom told me that I was a direct decendent of Queen Mary Tudor of England, yes bloody Mary. So my question is will my bloodline make my power stronger? ~Eliryana

Being a descendant of Mary's half sister Elizabeth could be possible, though not from Mary herself, as Mary never bore any children. However again Mary was a devout Catholic, and considered any witchcraft practice to be heresay with a sentence of death for such a conviction. With approx. 275 people dead (burned at the stake) for heresay is where she earned the title "Bloody Mary".

(Referencehttp://tudorhistory.org/mary/queen.html)

Was she evil? In her eyes not at at all. She did what she thought she had to do to secure her spot as Queen. As for the killings of 275+ heretics? Meh not unheard of, it was common practice to put to death anyone accused/convicted of heresay or treason. There were predecessors with more "notches" on the post than her.

My great grandmother was a witch (though we don't really know much about what she did) and i dont find that that makes me any more superior. I believe bloodline could affect the magick you can do(at least how well). but it doesnt really matter where on the bloodline you are, or if it does, not really because you can bring it out more in you.
dont criticize this please, i haven't really studied this, just stating what ive heard from reliable sources and my beliefs :P

Also may i add that we all have magick "flowing through our veins" if you want to phrase it like that. Magick has always been around, always been practiced (or almost always) so technically, everybody is a "blood witch" although the generations are different.

And your proof that she had a child is...???

Why on earth would a child have been concealed when it would have been the next Queen of England and also have a claim on the Spanish throne.

Sounds like a bit of fantasy to to me.

"OK so not true magick and power can come directly from ascendants. but is increased with study. your either born a witch or you are not. there is learned witches but it is never the same as blood witches. and there is very few, real blood witches left it seems, only learned which is sad because I am a 7th generation blood witch. " --esponaswolf 33

Don't worry espon. it's very clear to me that you have a need to feel "special/rare" thats common for small-minded people who have nothing but the fact that they tell themselves they're special, thats okay.

But what isn't okay is you trying to force other people to believe your ****, then take offense when they wont put on a costume and take part in your play.

There are people who come to this site looking for help and advice, and when people give them false information like you, not only does that lead them in the wrong direction it makes all of us look bad...

Now back to what I said earlier Eliryana, it doesn't matter if you have magic in your blood, and I personally see magic as a spiritual thing, therefore you could be the first witch ever in your bloodline and do just as well as anyone else.

And you say you have visions of Mary? That doesn't mean you have to share any biological connection to her, you could be spiritually connected to her, to anyone...so maybe that's a possible explanation, but maybe not.

Peace.
