never got rid of my cat. it did make me laugh, but i was really pissed and i let him know that. since i've known him since i was about 13 i have never been very strict with him, i know what he's like, he's a prankster, and he has to have his way, as i've grown it's gotten worse. he seems to answer to yes or no answers with the pendulum, otherwise, he enjoys lying and confusing people. the one thing he's always said yes to, was how he feels about me. we first talked to him when i was 16 or 17, and with a Ouija Board. he hated them and asked us to never use it again, but my one friend asked why Rori was with me and his response was he loves me and wants to protect me. on one hand that's sweet, on the other i should be a little concerned.
anyway, we continued with the Ouija board, because there are other spirits in my house, but Rori overpowers them all and was enjoying the Ouija Board and is calling it his new toy, so i've put it in my closet and i doubt i'll take it out till Samhain at the least. thanks for everything ^_^
though you can never trust what he says, especially when he's in one of his gitty moods, he claims he's 21. normally i see a figure either out of the corner of my eye, or walking around my room at night, but the one time he appeared before me, he looked to be 18-25. he doesn't like being seen though, and that' probably why he doesn't like my cat since cat's have better senses than humans he can probably see Rori. you can normally see him though as a shadow or a reflection of a person standing beside me in a tv about 3 inches taller than me. so, if he's telling the truth, he was 21 when he died, and i'm unsure, he feels and from what i've seen about that, but sometimes he acts like he did when we met at age 13 so who knows.
I made my Ouija Board from raw, fresh wood. My understanding is the best planchette to use is a clear quartz crystal which I use for the one I made.
I have two other commercial ones. One pink board(!) I got from Amazon. One tiny keychain Board--complete with planchtte in it's sliding tiny drawer (it really works).

This sound really fun and all but i am concern, My mentors had told me that to keed a spirit is not a good thing. they have anergy that is diffrent from us and the longer they stay with us the more they will effect us. The a effects can be good or bad but its best to leave them be. Also one more thing they told me is that it is best to let a ghost or spirit go to the other side then it is to keep them here. I hope what ever you decide to do, will not bring you regrets latter.
@ Justine777 you kind of don't, i care about Rori, and he cares about me, but you have to understand, although he goes through the motions of being active and inactive, he's normally hiding me stuff and doing stuff like this. whe i was 13 i didn't mind because it was fun, but i'm older, i've grown up and although i enjoy being silly and jokes and the like, he's stayed the same.
@ WicceLorrie that's cool, i wanted to make one, but i didn't have the time to find the perfect wood, and all that. so mine glows, and is way too small while the planchette is way too big. Rori figured out to use letters and numbers, he's use the point, for yes and no, the rounded ends. it's just sitting in my closet now, but i'll either make one in furute, or use that one forever. i just wish it didn't glow in the dark, it makes it feel more like a toy and i hate that.
finally tubxyooj, it's too late, the damage is done, i care deeply about him and don't want him to leave. it's mostly the friendship i have forged with him, though i've been having trouble hearing/seeing spirits over the past two years, just knowing he's around makes me happy. it's also a small bit feeling special i've felt since we first met. as a kid being able to brag about knowing a ghost and having someone no one else had as well as having someone to defend me was a great feeling and i didn't want him to ever leave me. i still don't, but i understand my actions better now, he doesn't want to cross over, but when that day comes, though it will hurt, i want to help my friend.
