I think your misinterpreting. Someone is called fluffly when someone brings it to the attention that something they claim to do, but yet can provide no proof (as these are mostly psychical changes)and they still claim to be able to do it.

But when someone ASK's they should be told it's not possible. I remember a girl, i think her name was AliciaCakes, and she just couldn't accept that mermaids are not real. So she left (i think, well she stopped posting anyway)

The problem is that generally they do not ask to seek the answer, they ask to seek reassurance on their own beliefs and if the answer they get is not suiting to that they keep asking or argue over it. This repition causes much aggrovation and annoyance. There have been several postings over it in the forum and several discussions in the chatter. However, with the constant flux of "newbies" coming in- it will never be an issue we can relieve ourselves from and put out of mind.

It describes Fluffs in the following way:

"Fluffy - also known by many other names is the worst label a member can have, usually this behavior especially repeatedly can result in being gagged or banned. These members are classified as people who give the serious members who are here to learn and share the true meaning and values of what magic really is and what it can do a bad name. They do not necessarily do bad or objectionable things but rather they can frequently be conceited, overconfident, poorly informed, immature, and sometimes exhibit a sophomoric humor. They refuse to learn or accept other peoples opinions and beliefs, and they think there can never be a possibility that their ever wrong.

Some examples to this behavior are:

  • Pretending to be the following- A Vampire, A Mermaid, A Werewolf, A Demon, A Fairy, A Half this and that Hybrid, or anything mythological or legendary in nature.
  • By lacking the ability or willingness to understand and accept common and basic concepts, the resistance or ability to complete tasks or answer questions without credible or accepted sources, and by not using or listening to reason, logic, reality even when a multitude of people agree or have concluded the same result.
  • By displaying excessive amounts of overconfidence, being blatantly annoying, exuding supremacy or acting like you are better than someone else (especially when you don't know each other beyond a certain limit considering this is cyberspace). "

She is referring to this.

All I have to say is this. People are not all going to tell you only what you want to hear. In fact, I think that those who are truthful about their opinions are showing more care than those who do not express their thoughts, and just agree or humor you without stating their true feelings.

If you have spinach in your teeth, wouldn't you want someone to tell you? Or would you rather everyone remain quiet and let you embarass yourself?

Go ahead and continue to think that everyone who disagrees with you is being mean and they're wrong. Wait a moment...isn't that judgemental too?

In my opinion a fluffy isn't just someone with info. that's not accurate or is incorrect. No to me it's someone who believes things or claims things but can't even prove it to themselves, unless they're psychopaths, and will spam any non-believers. That is a fluffy to me.

Blessed Be.

i do agree with the automatic judgement of some people who imply something being wrong, i just laugh at the hipocrisy at posts like this, because they are doing exactly what they dont want to happen to them, to other people. i admit i am a hipocrite to, but arent we all hipocrites at some point?
blessed be

Basically, act like you have one foot set firmly in reality, and have at least studied the possibilities before saying anything, and you don't get treated like a complete idiot.

It's pretty simple.

My personal standard is that I don't believe anyone who claims to have superhero type powers. You say you can levitate? Contact the media and we'll see. Anything else is pretty much a matter of opinion and experience.

I'd like to mention that I have been talking with darkestfairy for some time now, and so far her story has checked out. Recently I entered the collective consciousness (that's what it looked like) and found lines of light connecting her soul to the people she has mentioned in her posts. I'll admit I couldn't find Julian, though there are any number of explanations for that. Through astral projection, I found the place she has mentioned (she calls it Dracoly, see topic "The Shadowrealm" to answer "what is it?") and have made a number of visits. I admit that I haven't been able to confirm everything she has told me, but I've yet to prove her wrong. I can confirm that Dracoly is real because I came back with what I think was a curse (just because I could feel something in my side after I returned to my body) that my Mom removed with healing. She isn't a fluffy, she's just going through a tough time in her life right now (I refuse to reveal anything she considers private) and I'm helping her through it by lending my ear.

Hmmm...Touchy subject as everyone will have different (Maybe even clashing) opinions on this subject. I can tell you feel upset but all you can do really is block this person. Let them act like kids if they want to. Don't pay them any attention. I tried that one's and got more than the one person's abuse. You soon learn to be the bigger person and walk away, ignore, block and/or delete them. Sure the owners of this beautifully wonderful site could maybe sort them out if you reported them. I hate when haters put you down for no reason to but you'll get bullies everywhere!...You name it...the streets...in your family...maybe a friend or even on websites too....It sucks but it is what it is. I just hope you'll leave them to their own childish devices and carrying on being a happy soul and learning all you want to learn on your chosen subjects.

I wish you well on your spiritual journey.

Best wishes
