i feel this has gotten out of hand. agree to disagree and stop bantering about it. each person deserves respect REGARDLESS of their own beliefs. please quit bickering.
Reality IS what I perceive. And don't get me wrong AwakeTooLong I don't believe in vampires and werewovles and such. But I do believe that reality bends to my will. I can control fire and air literally with my mind. But that doesn't mean that I can create thunderstorms or hurricanes. I am still working with it. I have read on here that people have tried controlling the elements but can't. But have they really tried? Dedicated months to the practice? My spirit guide tells me that everyone has at least one element. And that every one can control that element with their mind and spells work greater magic when their specific element is involved. I HAVE dedicated months to it and my patients is paying off. I am sorry if you don't believe me but that is your problem not mine. And like I said earlier I am not trying to recruit. I am only asking for what everyone is due: respect. And sure if someone picks up a book and reads it and then calls themselves knowledgeable than yeah that is stupid. But for those of us on here that really want to learn but perceive things differently then the rest please don't make fun of us. It is not right. I have been in magic for 7 years now and know quite a bit. Therefore I cannot be called a fluff. Not according to your definition anyway. But for the rest who THINK they know everything just because they read one book then yeah they are setting themselves up. Plus you also have to remember that these people you speak of will never change. The ones who think that true blood is real or twilight is real will never change. So why even bother? Some might think I fall into this category but all I am doing is just taking magic to the next level.
And answer this. 500 years ago the world believe that the earth was flat. That was pinnacle of science. Then they found out that it is round. You think magic is any different? We humans think we know everything but we can't. That is the only impossible thing in this world. We are always learning. So if you think that this is the pinnacle of magic why can't you be wrong? If those scientists were wrong about their craft what makes you think you have all the answers?
Has anyone noticed that most of the people that disagree with this post are ranked as Knowledgeable (yes, I know that their are a few exceptions)...and most of the people who agree with it are not ranked (therefore considered a "newbie" or "fluffy" by the site's ranking system? I'm not trying to argue anything and I'll keep my opinion on this topic to myself; I just found that little tidbit very interesting, I'll be on my way now. :)
