All you have to prove is a physical broom flying then sit on it, and post a video of yourself riding it, plus wear a cowboy hat :)

broom riding is possible but not broom flying. it would be nice if it was because then i wouldnt have to pay for fuel but it is not possible. there was at one time a ritual (i say at one time because i dont know if im the only one who participates in it) tht a witch would ride a broom around a fire and jump as high as possible to show the crops how high to grow.

I personally think that broom flying is possible just because I see no true evidence against it. Some of us complain about people who come here, look for a quick fix, and leave because it didn't work. How is this pessimism directed towards broom flying any different? Just because none of us know how to do it doesn't mean it's impossible. I am thankful that someone on this site has decided to take broom flying seriously and, if they are correct, knows how to do such. Every myth has some basis in truth. The way I see it, a broom is inconspicuous, large enough to sit on, and readily available. The reason why people stopped riding them was because modern brooms are small plastic brushes with long handles and also because vacuum cleaners caught on. Not much point in flying a broom if people are likely to notice you. Besides, the amount of effort and energy needed to physically lift and hold yourself in the air would likely make flying useless compared to other modes of transportation available to us.

Now my main wish in life is to see new planets explore space find new life and creatures that no other scientist has yet discovered. Exploring space and finding out every inch of the universe, I dreamed of being able to do this from the age of six. I'm now doing degrees in chemistry, biology and physics, but the very sad truth is no matter how great of a scientist I become, no matter how many science books I write even in 40 years time I will not be able to fulfil my wish of travelling the whole of space. And trust be guys this really hurts. I know not in my life time that I cannot fulfil this. Now this relates to broom flying because maybe in a few hundred generations this could be possible but not now sadly :(

It's not possible to fly A Broom, but it's possible to fly WITH a broom. All it involves is a plane ticket and a broom :D.

@ the person who said they can do it but they don't have a video camera :L, anyone who has been here for more than a month, has probably herd it all before, so really don't waist your time.

Here is a simple suggestion:

From now on if you want to post something that makes a claim to do an impossible or unlikely feat or have an incredible claim of some sort, be patient enough to wait to post it when you can actually afford to include the evidence such as video footage or pictures etc.

If you can't afford to back up what you claim, then don't post it until you can. Simple enough... Right?

Just want to point out that "Flying Potions" usually possess just Psychedelic effects that are used to aid in Meditation, Spirit Work, etc. They don't actually make one fly... As for Brooms, that's a myth originating from around the Burning Times (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong).

I agree with theillyrium. I would like to apologize in case I was a little overzealous. I misread one of the posts and thought grg DID have a video camera. For controversial topics like flying you shouldn't just make a claim without any evidence or a testimony of a personal experience.
