Added to all this, money is scarce in these times, so it would also be a financial hit, how fun would all that stuff be when you can't afford your school books, uniform (if you have one) no lunch money, none to go on trips with friends, and none for basic needs.

I believe that you shuld work for the needed money or do extra chores to get it. ... Dont wait anything to come from youre parents. Im new at magic (actually i havent even tried to cast a spell yet) but i know that its bwtter working than forcing. ... Btw getting smthing with youre own money is better than bought by youre parents. ... Cause they dont have the right to take or ban you from using it (if it is a motorbike or a PC...) ...
