I travelled a great deal during my Showbusiness career. I had a small folding table, with an altar cloth. Yes, I had candle sticks, and a censor, but they are not absolutely necessary. Just a table, with a nice cloth; red or green, is all that is really required. It is what is in your Mind that is important, not what is on the altar.

You don't even need a table. If you are trying to be discreet, you can use a scarf that is just for this purpose. This is also quit useful for working outside :)

Yes, a scarf would be fine. The altar, and all the "tools" that go with it, are merely there to help concentration.I just happened to have a small table, but it is not necessary. Even sitting in a quiet spot, under a tree perhaps, one can still meditate, visualise, ground and centre.

i just use a drawer in my dresser i put my god and goddess symbols in there and things to represent the elements with a fancy wash cloth as my alter cloth so it doesnt have to be fancy or elaborate

I have a little sash that I carry around with me just about everywhere that is my portable altar and spell kit.

In it I keep several stones, mini candles, some assorted herbs, mini incense that I make, a few oils, and a few other misc. items.

In all honesty it depends on what you want to include as far as the items go. In anycase I just though I'd share this since it pertained to the subjet.
