Wizhard. Where on Earth do you get the idea that E=MC2 has anything to do with teleporting? If you have read (Which I doubt!) The Theory Of Relativity you obviously didn't understand it!
Like I said. You haven't read it; or if you have you didn't understand it. Energy doesn't change into matter. Energy IS matter! That's the whole point.
your body is a block of energy so you turn it into matter. float through the air to your destination and back to your block of energy.energy is not matter it is m2.
Theoretically, it could be done if one could change the matter they were made of and transfer it to the destination. However, being able to do that is not possible to my knowledge. Then again, I don't know everything about magic so good luck.
Wizhard. You still don't get it,do you? Einstein's theory is that any matter (that has form) when it travels at twice the speed of light (C2), creates energy. Energy does not create matter! It is the other way round!
In the realm of cosmology, extensions of the term matter are invoked to include dark matter and dark energy, concepts introduced to explain some odd phenomena of the observable universe, such as the galactic rotation curve. These exotic forms of "matter" do not refer to matter as "building blocks", but rather to currently poorly understood forms of mass and energy

@Vramel, Kinetics, electricity, etc. are not so much the core as much as that which was derived from the concept of a central energy.
Most original theory roots itself pretty firmly in the concept of four intermingled elements which are in turn influenced by spiritual energies. In many cases, this spiritual energy can be expanded upon and observed to be much the same as the elemental energies, where as the elemental energies are perhaps a more "distilled" version of the "raw" energy. As such, one might look at attempting to learn kinetics as attempting to learn a very minute part of the whole without understanding where it fits in everything else. Electricity is both covered by kinetics and the elements, and is an example of matter/energy in motion. I'll spare you the physics but it is part of everything from your nervous system to static cling to lightning.
Energy/matter, etc. are largely the same thing as Brysing has been asserting. The arguments otherwise have been primarily over semantics.
To apply it to the original question, to actually teleport would require that you accelerate your matter in such a way that you convert it into faster moving particles. You would then have to direct those particles somehow to the specific location you wish to occupy with perfect accuracy and then reassemble them without error. Remember, a single altered strand of DNA results in death, mental disorders, etc. Putting all of these building blocks of life together again in perfect sequence would be no small task, especially considering how long it took them to be mapped out in the first place, and how much is still unknown.
And even then, who knows what would result of having been reduced to a particle level in the first place? To some extent, you would be legally dead. There would be no heart beat or brain waves to register, so for that fraction of a moment you would cease to live and not really be existing in any form that is recognizable to the modern mind. During this state, a single molecule or atom could collide with "you' and screw up everything, as well, turning your particles into something else entirely and disrupting the whole process - so your "signal" or whatever would have to be rather isolated to be kept intact as well.
So teleportation? If you can will yourself to do it, have fun.
As was suggested, the astral aspect of this is likely more feasible. A mirror is a handy tool for such work, in a manner similar to scrying. Do not expect to physically see images, but on a spiritual level you might get sensations that are similar enough.
