Liniaria has it about right. re-incarnation is not so much "coming back" in another body, more that as the body goes back into the Earth (ashes to ashes, dust to dust) so the body "feeds" the plants above it. Animals, insects, and birds feed on the plants, and so we "live" again. In reality, it is only the spirit that lives on! Even with cremation, the ashes should be scattered. Keeping the ashes in a casket defeats the object!

so does the relm that the spirit passes to seem just like a human relm or is it something totally different? and do you keep the memery of your past or is it erased and you just restart a new life? does the spirit just keep moving on from relm to relm for all eternity?

We die, our soul / spirit leaves Human body goes to an resting place with other souls and if you decide, you can reincarnate to whatever form you wish in whatever planet you wish. Or you can stay in this mandate

I've read somewhere that the soul chooses his life's experiences before reincarnating to improve its spiritual journey...if so, lol, then what was I thinking when I had this opportunity. I could have done so much better.

Personally, the afterlife gives me reason to be in this life.

Believe what you believe; and whatever you believe,if it gives comfort whilst we live in this vale of tears, then carry on believing in whatever you accept as "after-life".

personally i believe my physical body will return to this earth to nourish and my etheric body joins the spiritual earth mother's realm and my astral body joins the astral realm and my mental body joins the mental realm and my Oversoul continues on it journey of learning and experiencing different worlds to hopefully have my own realm or world of my own to have dominion of .

All these posts reveal just how much beliefs are changed over time.So many different beliefs. Here is jessus4ever, saying he is a Christian-Wiccan, and wanting to go to heaven! Witches do not believe in Heaven! Or Hell!

Brysing, please do not simply jump on the first person to openly express their beliefs as a Christian Wiccan, I understand your full of all sorts of rage for the precious definitions of your words but I'd rather not see people be shamed of their own practice because someone simply cannot let it be. :)
Also, Brysing, not sure of you remember, a fine little lady on here always claimed of seeing the veil of hell. You may remember her. :)

Personally I like the thought of reincarnation and different planes of existence, I try to fixate on each belief of the world as a whole, that perhaps the different heavens of a person's descriptions may have a plane of its own. Perhaps the reincarnation and planes is like a universal recycling system. :)
