It's a gift sweety. You don't just "get" them, like from a spell or "magickal" object.

I'm not going to pretend I know what I'm talking about with prediction and precongition. It's one of the mysteries of life. But here is my take on it.

My best advice to those with this gift is to use it to help yourself and others. It isn't there to tell you what is going to happen. It's there to warn you of what CAN happen. And you have the ability to prevent it or use it to benefit the situation. For instance, the one who knew their best friend would die. It may have been their to prevent his death, or to help to cope/prepare for it. To the one who had a concussion, you could have prevented it had you stayed aware of the signs.

I don't believe that these "gifts" are internal. Especially when being close with deities or other beings, we tend to bond with these beings and gain little perks, like lent knowledge. This has been seen throughout history. Some spiritual beings are very capable of seeing into the future. Living beings however cannot, but we can listen to the messages given from spiritual sources.

Some theories include that the connection to all life is responsible for mysterious knowledge obtained. That if one can become sensitive to this connection, they can tap into it. But its a little too far fetched of a theory for me.

I'm personally very keen on death. I sense death in animals and people even before they show signs of illness. I hate it but I do my best to give advice (like go see your doctor) and prevent it if possible. It saved the life of a friend with cancer. This is merely sensing the energy of the person and the internal changes (from healthy energy to death energy). I believe that its a healer thing...

Animals can sense danger and death before any threat is apparent. So this isn't an odd concept to living beings.

Well, you are one if the only people on this site, along with Brysing and the other elders, would like to tell me a few of the spiritual beings that would grant these, I'll admit I'm a little lazy, but I am/would going to research each in depth to learn which one is close to me and give them the praise they sooo deserve :)
Thank you either way for the information and help you have already given me... You are AWESOME

Since I was very young I have been fascinated with the myths of the ancients. I have also been practicing divination since I was a child. When I learned of the fates, I was drawn in. Then to find that they show up in several other cultures, such as the Norse wyrd sisters was amazing to me. In Catholic school, when others were saying "If God allows" I would say "If the fates allow it"! Trust me, I had some odd glances passed at me for that! Even in my young age, I felt that the Fates controlled divination. And I vaguely remember shuffling and asking that the fates guide my cards so that I may be granted wisdom concerning my situation.

When I was 13/14, I met a man named Scott. And he told me of the runes with such enthusiasm and detail that I immediately fell in love with them. He talked for what I think was about an hour. And it is where a great deal of my writings on runes came from. The conversation is imbedded in my mind.

This is where I found my connection to Odin, a very wise god. I was afraid to embrace him because of others telling me it was just a "myth" but he felt so real to me, that I secretly began a bond with him. When I did this, my gifts seemed to open up further than I could have ever imagined. I dove further and further into the runes until they finally began to "speak" to me. Then all of nature seemed to "speak" to me in the same way!

In researching celtic myth at around 15-16yo, I found a liking to Morrigan and I found referrence to "sidhe" but could not find the definition of what they were until a few years later. The word rang in my mind. I couldn't seem to forget about it. Then finally I found a forum of well-read witches and asked. They are nature spirits, just as tall as you or me. They are far stronger in magick than any mortal can be. They are beings of magick. They are the most beautiful specimens of human-like being that you could ever lay your eyes on. And when they showed themselves to a living person, they spoke great wisdom. Morrigan is their queen. And to me, and through my further research, I feel that they are the closest and most accurate description of our modern term "angel". No the Sidhe do not have bird wings, nor are they "heavenly" or "all holy" =P
I favor the sidhe and call them by the name I have found through astral projection, "mystics".

These are my own personal experiences, but it by no means are the only beings that one can bond with. I'm sorry for rambling on, but I couldn't exactly condense this info without losing the value of it.

There are many beings and deities with just as much insight. It's a matter of keeping our eyes open and letting them walk into our lives, then accepting them with open arms. The spiritual world is so very immense. It's like a library beyond all libraries, and everyone has their own subjects that they most enjoy. It's just about finding your niche, your calling!

I have a similiar ability, but only the parts I die dont happen it takes awile for the moment to happen (days, weeks, even years for it to happen). Then when it happens I brace my self for the fatal blow and it doesnt happen. My point: don't always believe in it! This can cause severe paranoia, and no one should suffer like me.

I dont believe anyone can see the future. I believe all you can see is a OPTION of the future; Free will could always come in and change things.

To help clear your mind before you go to bed, light a Jasmine incense stick. Jasmine is a very good herb known from its aid in prophetic dreams. You can buy it in any of your nearest stores that sell oils, herbs, incense, etc. A common one in England is 'Holland and Barrett.'

Also, meditate beforehand.

Another thing that could help is if you learn a little in dream interpretation and symbolism. This can help you translate things in their dreams.

Hope this helps, and good luck!
